On our way home from Algonquin Park we stopped for a sweet treat and a few meat pies for dinner that night. The meat pies were the best I have ever had. They were full of fresh flavourful meat with tasty sauce and homemade crust. I wish I had bought a few dozen to freeze. Next year I will try... More

Every year we go to a friend's cottage about 10 mins from Henrietta's. We always stop there to get some baked treats for after dinner and with coffee. I love the Chinese Chew and their variety of squares and pastries is fantastic! You can also get gourmet sandwiches and meat or vegetable pasties (like an empanada sort of) if you... More

Great bakery. I love to get a box, with 1 of every kind in it. There is always a line up to get into the shop.

Stopping at Henrietta's is a family tradition. Some of the most delicious pies and bake goods we have ever tasted. We usually call in our order and it's ready when we walk in which is nice because sometimes the line up is pretty long, but well worth the wait.

One of the busiest bakery I have been to on a Saturday. Great bread and of course sweet desert type of things. A little disorganized on Saturday. They have another place in Huntsville that seems to be a bit quieter and has a coffee shop. Well worth the visit.

The best place ever for sticky buns. We buy them and freeze some just to be able to have a treat during the winter. Love the breads, the pies, the tarts, the cookies. Did I mention the sticky buns.

We all have our favourite baked goodies! And some bakeries really excel in certain things! It is great when the twain meet! We have just been north for our annual vacation, and part of that is visiting Henrietta's nearby. For years I have acknowledged their "milk tart" (Melktert to South Africans), which is as good as it gets, even by... More
