I hear the food is very good but I was in to watch the rugby and enjoy a few beers. Good company, noisy friendly locals mixed with 'foreigners' like me - enjoyed the pub a lot

The staff are also friendly and helpful. But if you are vegan you will have very limited choice. If they had at least one... More

Fantastic food and excellent service. Would recommend this however you would probably need to book first (we were very lucky and they managed to find us a table).

Having read all the other reviews of this pub I think we must have visited on a bad night . I had bangers and mash which were the cheapest , most tasteless sausages I have ever encountered , don't think there was any pork in them at all , with instant mash and instant gravy . It was truly dreadful.... More

Food was lovely & fresh. I had scampi & my husband had mixed grill, both were delicious. The lady who served us was friendly. Will definately go again.
