I am allergic to gluten and dairy yet I was able to have a full English breakfast for the same price as a regular one and didn't have to miss out on toast or substitute foods like I normally do. Add to that it was cooked perfectly and in clean, comfortable surroundings. They also did a vegetarian breakfast. Well done... More

Right in the centre of the little town/village.....run mainly by a local council, it houses a great art and crafts exhibition/shop. Well worth a visit to see the works of local artists and crafts folk.

Met up with a friend here, very nice, staff friendly, very good coffee and toasted teacher, parking up the road but not far. Interesting gallery with local crafts. Workshops for children during summer holidays.

Having spent a week in Ireland where people welcome you in and wish you a good day, make you feel valued, and want to know where you have come from, the opposite can be said of this establishment. At 1.30.pm we walked in and received a less than friendly welcome. The Craft Centre/Gift Shop was the way through but we... More

Came here a few days ago at around 12.30pm hoping to get a spot of lunch. I wanted a hot meal and had hoped to get a lasagne or something, however, it wasn't on the menu. The choice of hot meals wasn't great. There weren't many to choose from, and the choices available were rather boring. The soup did sound... More

I first visited Anne's cafe 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed a lunch of cold cooked ham, mash and parsley sauce. Whilst only visiting for coffee this time, it's encouraging to see the dish still on the menu. Don't mess with the classics! My mum has strong ideas on a good coffee i.e. it should taste of coffee (not milk)... More

We were staying in the local Travelodge and wanted something more interesting than the Little Chef next door. Annie's cafe is in an unusual setting (within a crafts centre) and provides home-cooked locally sourced food so it fitted the bill. The menu was very limited and we both had the basic breakfast so I can only comment on that. It... More
