Great menu! Love love their Casado - the food authentic & delicious. Friendly staff that were always so gracious to help us with our Spanish & a nice ocean view.

I went here after reading a review here and it did not disappoint. The view was amazing and you could relax in the hammocks. The food was very good, my husband loved the shrimp ceviche! The owners are lovely as my husband left his phone and wallet there and when he came back an hour later we walked in and... More

We stopped here on our way into town for the week. The food was just ok, the atmosphere was lacking. Sure, there is a beautiful view of Playa Flamingo, but it was seen through a chain link fence. The bathrooms were pretty gross. And we had to beg for our check to be given to us so we could pay... More

Well we had high hopes of getting a meal, they were pretty busy but seemed like they were in over their heads, bathrooms were filthy, left without ordering so can't really comment on the food, maybe a less crowded time it would have been better.

The location by the sea is worth a visit. It was very busy when we came and the kitchen was working hard to get the dishes out. The food is very traditional and the prices are fair for the location.

I visited Potrero a couple of days ago, and went to Pleamar. The building is very rustic but the food was fabulous. We had fresh fish and patacones, one of the best I have had.

With the tree-trunk wooden tables, shaded by palm frawn tiki umbrellas, it doesn't get much more authentic feeling. Great location to watch the boats and the beach, this place is fantastic. With mostly Costa Rican typical food, you can't go wrong. However they do have some Americanized options too, if you are not wanting to stray from your normal dining.... More

We had been out fishing that morning and Pleamar was located on the beach close to the marina. There isn't much to the place... the building with the bar and kitchen, some tables with palapas and the great view. We ordered some Casado con piscado and pollo and it was delicious. A few Pilsen cervesas to wash it down while... More

We loved this place, right on the beach, food is excellent and the woman serving us was amazing. She played some awesome cumbia songs and would raise the volume just because my husband asked for it.

This small beachside restaurant is a local gem. The location is on the beach with a view of the bar. The owner / hostess is the friendliest person in town. Try your Spanish. She will appreciate and help. The food is very good. I have been several times and have something different each time. I like the typical dish. Prices... More
