We had the breakfast there and I had their roast beef 2 days in a row. That's how good it was. It's quiet and restful which I think is the aim of the hotel. Very recommended for other meals but we were there for too...short a time.More
Sorry fellows hot spring facilities not allowed to take photos, I included only the set meal photos here.
I joined the package "public hot spring facilities + set meal(western)" day visit which costs NT$2700 nett per person. If only public hot spring facilities will cost...NT$1600. The set meal choice included price NT$1880 or below. I think package will be more value for money!! Surely I will take this hot spring hotel as one of my "must visit" place when I travel Taipei next time!! Last but not the least, the staff of this hotel are very nice and helpful.More
Check out my review of the hotel - The Gaia - lots to say about this amazing hotel. I also visited the Piacare restaurant for dinner. Amazed to find a high end western restaurant in an onsen hotel in Beitou. Impeccable service - very attentive...and polite service staff. Dinner set meal prices from Twd1680 onwards for appetiser, soup, risotto, main and dessert. I love the hokkaido scallop and duck breast - both were perfectly cooked. The meal was not cheap but the quality and service were deserving of the price. If you stay at the Gaia Hotel, you get an option for full board so it may be cheaper that way (I didn't, just happened to want to stay at the restaurant for dinner). Overall, top class restaurant in a top class hotel.More
