Order rice vermicelli soup and of course their specialty tang yuan. The vermicelli is great while the entire meal is simple with mince meat sauce and an braised egg but in a cold weather, this is an hearty meal that warms your body and soul....The tang yuan is great with no so sweet soup. Not too goody skin with right texture, the filing is generous. Worth the visit!More

This is a very special Taiwanese snack bar with pasta and rice balls. Meal time is often full, so be prepared to wait.

Love the 卤肉饭(Braised Pork rice). Not too sure whether the 汤圆(Rice balls) were overcooked or meant to taste the way (probably due to different culture) bcos it tasted a bit too soft and not tangy enough. Ample seating for about 30-40pax.

We were there for a few night consecutively for dinner and Tang Yuan. It was so good that we had no idea where else better to go to in that area. The Tang Yuan is chewy and tasty and full of a variety of Tang...Yuans. The dishes for dinner was excellent as well. Perfect place for dinner and post dinner desserts. A must try!More

I love their tang yuan❤️I will recommend to eat hot tang yuan if you love its texture. Soft and chewy. Their pork mince noodle is also on my must eat list. Food is perfect. The only problem is you need to have patience to wait...for your food. Because it's always busy here.More

We had our lunch there after visiting the paper factory. We were early; hence, had seats. Not long after we have ordered our food, crowds started to throng into the shop. This was the 2nd such shops we patronised. The first was near Jiji Train...Station. The shop also sell desserts, hot and cold, but we did not order any because our children have peanut allergy and chances are that there will be peanut added (or contaminant) in the desserts.More

Cheap and delicious food. Especially the dry noodles. The tang yuan also tasted yummy. Service is fast but restaurant can be crowded so you need to wait .

Small spot with benches and stools open to street. The tangyuan (both the meat and sweet versions) are really good, the other food (mainly pork rice and pork noodle ) are just average.

The kids loved the Lu3 rou4 fan4 (braised pork rice?) with its robust but not cloying meat. As with the Tang Yuan with its smooth consistency and rich filling. The peanut and black sesame combo was SO good. We spotted another Singaporean family enjoying their...meal when we visited. A must go.More

Been to Su Mama twice, it has the best braised pork rice in Tai Chung. The tang yuan is good in both cold and hot. Give it a try never came before.

Our driver bought us here for lunch in July 2012, all of us agreed that the braised pork rice is the best we had for our entire trip (Taichung-Yilan-Taiwan). Cold Tangyuan was surprisingly good too.
