Saw long lines and came in. Great goose over rice, meatball soup, and cold appetizers. All tasted great, fast service and super cheap. Definitely recommend it. 👍 👍

First time we went on the Friday afternoon which was not TOO busy. We bought the take out and bring it back to the hotel to enjoy. The next day SATURDAY we went almost the same time and the portion is a lot less! Even...the ginger slice on the bottom is a lot less too! If I did not go 2 days on the row, I would not know the portion is less on a POPULAR BUSY Saturday! BUT the goose meat is the best and worth it even I feel CHEATED!More

Seriously .. this place serves tough duck .. which is cold too . It’s not worth dining here though the noodle quality is acceptable ... but the duck meat is really tough and cold ...

Was told this was a really famous restaurant and so I went to try it out. Went on a weekday so I didn’t need to wait for a table. Once we were seated, the waiter immediately came to take out orders. We literally didn’t have...any time to think of what to eat (to be honest, there wasn’t really much of a choice to start of with anyway). You were kind of rushed to order. All you had to decide was: 1. How much duck (or I hear it’s goose meat now) to order? You had a choice of like 1/4; 1/2 or a whole duck. 2. Type of noodles you wanted to eat: yellow noodles or rice noodles? 3. Any additional dishes like vegetables or duck internal organs..? Overall food was pretty good. Soup was a little too oily for my liking. Duck/Goose meat was tender.More

Very unfriendly as the menu was in Chinese written on a wall frame without any visuals, and the waiter never bothered to explain, even though I was confused and just ordered a bowl of plain noodles without the main dish GOOSE meat, instead if duck...as per restaurant name! So I had to tell him and re-ordered the main dish after that, at TWD300, plus plain noodles at TWD60 for a complete single serve set meal. Price was slightly expensive due to the simple restaurant setup but still acceptable for goose meat as I knew in HK also it's mostly served at higher end restaurants. However the taste turned up to be so so, big gap compared with those served in more formal Chinese restaurants especially in HK. So rather disappointed and I dun think it's worth the money for the experience.More

Disappointing experience. It was goose, not duck and the goose meat was really tough and difficult to chew, plus it was cold, with oily seasoning base. Only plus point is the noodles soup.

Was quite disappointing, only plus point is the noodle soup tasted great. Didn't expect the meat to be so tough. Wouldn't visit again, and not recommended.

Although the signboard says they serve duck, they only sell goose nowadays. They only serve two things here, boiled/poached (not sure of the cooking style) goose and soup noodles. Also the goose is served cold. IMHO the goose was ok as I prefer the Hong...Kong style roast goose.More

Name of shop is 鸭肉扁, but it is actually selling goose. Why is that so? Heard from driver that long time ago, this shop was selling duck! Nonetheless, the goose meat is still tasty. But I still prefer Mr Goose (not in TAIPEI) ....their goose...n duck meat are more tender n juicy.More

From the other reviews, I believe one reviewer gave a review on a completely different restaurant (the pictures provided were not from this place) and some reviewers obviously thought they had eaten duck when this restaurant sells only goose. The confusion must have been the...name of the restaurant 鸭肉篇 which suggests duck. We walked into the restaurant with the intention of having a braised duck meal indeed and was told they only serve goose. The menu is on the wall. You can order duck in one portion (NT300 see picture), half or whole. The other items are noodles soup (NT60), rice vermicelli soup (NT60) rice and cabbage. Nothing special for us just average. Perhaps it was a shop with long history, the queue can be quite long.More
