Little hidden gem. If you want a break from local food here they serve pretty good spaghetti fare. Better than expected. Nice tea and coffee. If also a few meters from a beautiful sightseeing point of the lake.

If you want Italian pasta and beer/coffee/tea it is an excellent place to go to . The food is excellent - try the tagliatelles with mushrooms! We had a craving for western food and this is exactly what we needed ! Quiet location and really...nice owners. Great atmosphere.More
Nice quiet place with 2-3 tables under trees facing a walking path. The cappuccino was good. 120 ntd.
After a long day cycling around the lake, I needed something nice, warm and cheesy. I had the wild mushroom risotto and a frozen blueberry juice. It was good and what I needed.
Decent restaurant and coffee shop. Ordered beef lasagne and mushroom risotto and 2 small Taiwanese beers, cost 840 TWD (36 Aud). Lasagne was very very cheesy and a good size, not too big. Mushroom risotto was tasty, and also a good size - not totally...authentic but good. Such a nice change from traditional Taiwanese and Asian style food. Menu was mixed, a bit western - chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, pasta options, coffee, tea, beer. The menu is out the front on a stand as you walk past. They do not entice you in if you stop to read the menu. Service was quick as we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Atmosphere of the tables out the back was a bit sterile. Pity you can’t see the street view from inside the restaurant. The few tables out the front are in a good position but could be a bit cool in winter. Friendly staff that made us feel welcome. Would recommend. Not sure if this restaurant would suit the Chinese crowd. Seats about 30 people out the back and 16 or so out the front. Open 11am to 8pm. Sun Moon Lake Restaurants do not have a western focus - but this restaurant welcomed all.More
The food here was much more better than those on the Main Street of sun moon lake..Not to mention their nice asam tea

After looking around Shueishe and being pretty disappointed with the options we found this place and decided to try the pasta. My lasagna was really fresh and cheesy and the drinks were really tasty as well. Highly recommended in this area with limited western options
We wandered around trying to find food to eat, with limited options around the Shueishe area. There are a few chinese restaurants, but many were closing or were not very western friendly. As we were walking home defeated to our hotel to eat their dinner...(which didn't seem too appetizing), we saw this purple sign in the distance, so we decided to check it out. We saw the "pasta" on the sign and were hooked! The meals were delicious - I had the spaghetti with clams, asparagus and cream sauce... yum! And my partner had the lasagna and it was super cheesy and delicious. Apparently they have an Australian chef - he knows what he's doing! Because of the lack of eateries in the area (besides Starbucks), we will most likely stop by again tomorrow night... Oh, and the blueberry frozen drink (made with real blueberries) was awesome! :) Highly recommend.More
Stop here for a short break. Loved this place. Super nice people and they served great coffee. Nice place to sit in between events.
The drink is nice and there's less people then the main street. However, it is rather pricey. I visited there during Chinese New Year and they charged a high service charge.
This cafe very simply but lovrly place and excellent coffee. There were very nice place and suitable for taking even the family and friends to chill out.
We visited this place just before its closing time… The name sounds a little odd… February coffee – pasta and coffee!! But the coffee was really nice, staff were friendly and smiling. Its located close to the sunrise viewing point.
