Taiwan nyu ro mian (Taiwan beef noodles) are famous. The beef is cooked slowly according to the chef's secret recipe. The beef is part shank and part tendon, which is much loved by diners. The noodles are thick and a bit chewy. Local diners love..."jin,' which is a form of gristle that is quite succulent.More

I visited this restaurant 4 years ago. I was delicious and I can't help to visit every 2 or 3 days. I am disappointed by this visit ( after 4 years). it moves into an air conditioned building. better environment. but worse customer service, no...greeting from staffs. doesn't offer water or tea as other restaurants, It loses its favor, no longer taste good, soup base is bland.no longer outstanding than others. By spending the same price, I can get better service and value at other place. I won't visit Lin Dong Feng anymore.More

When I went there, they have moved to a newer shop so more seats and although there was a queue, it moved quite fast. Sharing tables with strangers is still a norm. The soup base was very tasty but I find the noodles too thick,...so thick that the middle part wasn't cooked properly. The amount of meat they gave was quite generous.More

It is in Michelin book & very famous for years. It has better dining place & beef noodle is always good. The price is reasonable, actually quite cheap and the small portion side dishes are all good enough. The service is quick & the location...is easy accessible. 在米其林推薦之中的多年名店,地方比以前好很多,牛肉麵總是好吃,價錢合理,相較起來還算便宜,小菜都蠻好吃的;服務快速,地點很好找,算是蠻市中心的。More

Not as good as expected compared to many other shops in Taiwan. The cashier and the waitress in the downstairs were a little bit rude. Not all people work in the kitchen ware mask. The appetizers quality were so so. Price are slightly higher than...normal beer noodle shops in town.More

Not disappointed at all after a short wait for a table (we split our group of 6 into 2 and 4 to make it quicker). The noodles themselves were divinely elastic and were not just an accompaniment to the meat. The beef was delicious and...tender with each generous slice of beef shin containing a pleasing amount of gelatinous connective tissue and the meat melted in my mouth. I chose the half beef, half tendon option and the tendons were beautifully soft without being too soggy. The broth was also tasty and the serving generous. Well worth visiting and I feel like going all the way back to Taipei (at least 9 hours on a plane) just to have another bowl!More

I’m not sure lining up for beef noodles was the best use of our limited time in Taipei. The beef noodles were good but it’s not something I would come back to Taipei for. I enjoyed the crispy fish side dish more.

Famous in town and be expected to queue for long time. noodle itself is great and chewy but beef just so-so, a bit over expectation given its fame and the long queue

I am really careful in giving reviews, to ensure readers get the right info. I stayed at courtyard and it was really tired after 9 hours flight with meals that are quite less tasty. Once arrived in courtyard, I tried ubereats and found this restaurant....It took them around 13mins to arrive. The soup was so good for a cold weather, the meat is really good, the noodle is a little too much for me (the regular size). Just the tendon, one of them is too hard that I can’t bite. Overall it has being awesome for me, especially looking for good at near 11pmMore

We last tried LDF about 2 years ago at their older (and more run-down) outlet one street away. The remodel was a breath of fresh air; cleanliness also improved with the new furniture and spick and span layout. We didnt have to wait for long...for a seat, but the food took about 10-15mins to come. I would prefer if the noodles cooked a little less to have a harder consistency, but the beef was tasty. The beef was sliced disproportionately, with some pieces shaped like a 3D trapezium - this really annoyed our friend who ate with us. LDF hands down defeats the overrated (and overpriced) Yong Kang Beef Noodles, but it still is not as good as the super amazing Fuhong Beef Noodles at Luoyang Street.More
