The staff were friendly and helpful, the menu was excellent and varied even though our visit was at 4.00pm on a Sunday. The food, however, was sublime. Could not have been better. Looking forward to a return visit soon. Thanks.

We were a group of 5 adults, had lunch here Sat 19/11. It was excellent. A warm welcome on arrival despite the restaurant being almost full. Great choice on the menu and the food lived up to expectations. Fresh, tasted good and balanced portions. But the quality of service and the hospitality were the key factors that made this experience... More

My friend and I booked a meal here on Friday evening past, from the moment we arrived in the door we were greeted and looked after immediately by the friendly staff. The surroundings are comfortable, cosy and very fresh. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. Good value for money. We will certainly be going back.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch at the beautifully remodelled Derragerra Inn. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was of top quality for quite a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to all!

It is a lovely and cosy restaurant and we are glad that they reopened again after the big fire. We had a Sunday lunch lately With the family and two toddlers. It was nice and typical for sunday lunch. But I prefer the evening meals, they are very tasty and nicely presented. The wine was nice and the men enjoyed... More

Came here for a Saturday dinner. The staff were lovely and the food was very tasty. My only fault is that this restaurant can't seem to decide if it is a cosy country pub or a restaurant. It's an awkward combination of the two. Saying that the food was lovely and for a very reasonable cost. I fully intend to... More

First dined with Murphs when in Cootehill. Was very impressed so I was delighted when I heard they were moving to Derragarra. Have dined here many times and had my sons confirmation here. The food never disappoints. Really looking forward to it reopening.

Very sad to see the destruction caused by a major fire in this wonderful restaurant last weekend. I was delighted however to read in the Anglo Celt newspaper that the owners are planning to reopen with an even better restaurant in the next few months. I wish the Murphy's all the best in their endeavours.

We visited this place earlier this month for lunch, there were 6 of us altogether. From we walked in the door, the service was great. We were asked to wait a few minutes and then shown to our table, shown the menus and enquired if we needed any drinks. The only crib I had was with the starters, the menu... More
