We have eaten in the Bridge Bar several times and have not been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent in quality and price. The stand out meal is the pan fried Haddock. If you are in the area calling in to partake of the guiness and food is a must

The Bridge Bar is always a must for us when we visit anywhere near Ramelton. The family ( Bridget, Gavin & Rory) who own the bar are always welcoming and friendly as indeed are the locals. The food especially the seafood is something to look forward to and is always delicious. We have never been disappointed and always look forward... More

Out B&B lady, Ann Cambell recommended the Bridge Bar, it's just rolled off her tongue when I asked what is the best place to eat in Ramelton, and how right she was. On our first night we both had seafood pie, real comfort food, 3 sorts of fish in a creamy sauce covered with mash potatoes. On the second night... More

Small, packed to the rafters at times, good food being ferried on plates through the crowded bar, musicians blasting out those good vibes...you'll look back on all this in your dotage and say "they were the good old days". Some do that now but they mean the 1960s... And who can remember them? So enjoy this while you can, enjoy... More

We stumbled upon this gem! The owner is really nice friendly guy that chatted away with everyone that came into the bar. There's a great atmosphere. We stayed for dinner which was delicious, the chef even came down to us to say he was nipping over to the butchers to get our steaks as his delivery hadn't arrived yet (... More

Great time had at the The Bridge Bar restaurant. Went with two other couples and had a brilliant meal. Fabulous muscles for starters and then the sea food salad as main - loved the salmon moose pate the best within the salad! For dessert I had the tiramisu - the best tiramisu I have ever had! This is a must... More

We went to the restaurant after seeing it as the top rated place in the town and found the food average at best. The waitress didn't look happy at all and was quite abrupt. Not a place I'd go back to.

A true gem of a pub and eating house. I say eating house because you can dine in the bar or the small upstairs restaurant, your choice. The bar serves a wide range of drinks and a great pint of stout. The food is something else with a special emphasis on local fish and not so local fish. My wife... More
