This is a gem of a breakfast spot with wonderful staff, terrific food, super home made bread, the best coffee anywhere, good music playing, and a relaxing comfortable atmosphere. We’ll definitely go back when in the area.

We enjoyed having breakfast there one morning and we had great service. I loved the tea. A few days later, we had dinner and it was very tasty.

We had lunch here consisting of tasty fish cakes with a spinach salad side and green tomato sauce. Also had the haddock sandwich with backed potato side. Everything was in generous proportion and well done, a great place to stop.

We loved this place. yes, it is basic in appearance but the menu was varied, interesting and the people so helpful. Really this is a jewel. Don't be mislead by the exterior. Just do it. Music also some nights. Tell Steve hi from Tom in...More

Well the picture doesn’t do it justice but the coconut cream pie is just like Mom would make. Like the sign says ... the chalk board drawings don’t do the coffee justice. A great place to stop and take some deep breaths.

We had a day port tour in Halifax and our driver took us to this little place seemingly in the middle of no where. I was worried about what I would be able to eat and was astonished when I looked at their menu and...More

So sorry to be so long answering your question, but we were on an Alaskan cruise. I really have no idea about special diets, but the chef is very accommodating so I imagine he could come up with something.
