About
T’s Tantan is a vegan ramen shop using no meat, fish, eggs or dairy products in our menus. Most popular is our Tantan noodle. It is a special vegan ramen with rich taste and aroma of sesame. We also have Soy Sauce ramen and Tanmen with plentiful vegetables as well as juicy vegan gyoza dumplings using no meat as a side dish. It is a sister shop of “T’s Restaurant” in Jiyugaoka.

Yes, you need a train ticket to get in. If you use your IC card, the machine gets pretty annoyed that you haven't gone anywhere. The station manager asked why we were inside and when we said food, he charged us a small amount to the IC card (iirc it was about 200 yen). Like others have said, follow directions to Keiyo Line or ask for directions to Keiyo Street. We followed signs to Keiyo Line until we saw T's tan tan sign. On to the food: never thought I liked ramen before this trip, but after trying the gold sesame and torinkotsu ramens I'm all in. Broth was rich and flavorful. Especially liked the gold sesame and the mild sourness. The kara age are delicious fried bits (traditionally made with chicken), and I totally recommend it. It is completely worth it to go through the trouble of getting into the station, and looping through trying to find it.

It is not easy to find restaurants that serve meals for vegans (and vegetarians) in Tokyo, but this gem serving vegan ramen is a rare find in the land of sushi. Highly recommended for everyone, even non-vegans. The broth is rich and creamy and very tasty, and there are varieties in the menu.

Absolutely delicious vegan food right in the heart of Tokyo station. I was overjoyed to find this little gem on my recent trip to Japan. A good number of options and the food tastes amazing. I went back for a second time during the same trip! My husband is not vegetarian or vegan but completely agreed that this place was a bit of a taste sensation. Couldn’t agree more and I was super excited to find this place as I have struggled a bit finding 100% vegetarian/vegan food in Japan as so many dishes have either seasoning or broth that is fish based.

The best ramen I had while I visited Tokyo. We were looking for vegetarian ramen places and this place was recommended to us. We ordered most things on the menu and not one dish disappointed. The place is a bit tricky to find but once you find it - your tastebuds will be tingling with joy!

Having struggled to find purely vegetarian food in Tokyo, T’s TanTan was an amazing find. The golden sesame ramen, with peanut butter, was so good, it was absolutely worth the (little bit of) hassle trying to find the place! The reviews below have some good tips on how to get there, but having a wee bit of Japanese also helped ask the metro guard the way to go. It was delicious, and I HIGHLY recommend.

If you're vegan, and you want to eat delicious vegan ramen, this is the place to go. They have a good variety of vegan ramen, as well as other dishes. Only negative thing is that it is located inside Tokyo Station, so you'll have to pay to get to the restaurant. I really enjoyed the food. Highly recommended.

After a long day of visiting around Tokyo it was nice to sit down in this relaxed restaurant and order vegan food. We also ordered some of their vegan ramen to-go cups which are also delicious! Note that Tokyo Station is large and so it might take a little time to find this place, but it’s well worth it! Very great, quick service and lots of yummy food to try!

It wasn't easy finding meat-free meal options in Tokyo. T's TanTan has always been a place I had my sights on and finally was able to give it a try. The Ramen was delicious and so were the desserts! Do note that this Restaurant is within the station so you actually have to tap your IC card to look for it inside.

That we went to Ts Tan Tan twice in 10 days (and came back to Tokyo early for the same) should be enough! But let me elaborate! It’s a chain of Ramen restaurants which serve 3 types of Ramen (white sesame, black sesame, golden sesame), a rice bowl, veg gyoza and some other stuff. For us, the Black Sesame is the top pick with a strong black pepper flavoured broth, followed by Golden Sesame (peanut flavoured) and then White Sesame (which is great by itself). The gyoza are a nice add-on! The staff is very friendly and the outlet is brightly lit! Just a little difficult to find, given the chaotic Tokyo Station! PS: it’s on the first floor opposite one of the many Starbucks and near a small Uniqlo store. You need to be inside the turnstiles to access it (so need a travel ticket or a platform one).

This place is worth all the hype. We try to stop in every time we're through Tokyo Station, which is basically every day we're in the city! It's just so great. As a vegetarian it is one of my favorites in all of Japan. Their Gold-sesame Tantan ramen is the best.

Amazing broth with a dollop of peanut butter, surprisingly a really good addition. Noodles weren’t thick enough and didn’t have enough of a bite for my liking but still fresh and delicious noodles. Also, I’m not vegan as I eat eggs, and I missed having the ability to add an egg here. Still a solid 5 for that dreamy broth. Ramen engine in Tokyo was a better vegan ramen.

We found this place based on happy cow! A heaven for vegetarian and vegan people. We tried the golden sesame ramen and the vegetable gyoza - both were filling and delicious. Warm and hearty bowl of food on a cold day. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. They have take away noodle cups for sale too. The restaurant is a bit hard to find - you have to use a ticket to enter the station and walk along the keiyo line side. You will see a big certified by vegan sign on the right! Absolutely worth the effort! The place does not disappoint.

Get your vegan fix in Tokyo without even leaving Ueno Station! T’s TANTAN offers vegan-friendly ramen, highlighted by their rich and flavorful Golden Sesame Tantan noodles! Be sure to pair them with their delicious plant-based gyoza for a refreshing and fulfilling meal. I translated the Chinese menu of this restaurant for anyone who needs it.

Visited the place in early April with family. Had to wait for almost half an hour, but was worth the wait. Small cosy joint with great vegan options. It was great to see dishes inspired by the Cherry Blossom. The food was great, highly recommended.

Wonderful vegan food in the heart of Tokyo Station! There was about a 20 minute wait to get in and well worth it. Plenty of options, and english menu and ordering on a tablet. Food came really quickly and was extremely tasty. I recommend getting whatever special they have and the gyoza is wonderful too! I got the yuzu bowl and it was delicious and convenient.
