A great yakitori restaurant with cosy seating. Menus are available in English and the friendly waiters speak enough English to order without issues. Great choice of delicious skewers and side dishes. The chicken skewers were better than the beef ones. The mackerel was probably the highlight.

Choose the Omakase! We came here without a booking for our first night in Japan, arriving after 8:30pm. The food was fantastic, the service pretty good, the experience excellent. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed watching our food be cooked and delivered to us one round of Yakitori at a time. My favourite was the ginkgo nuts. We were shown very quickly where to put our things, take off our shoes and put them into lockers. If you find this restaurant hard to find, it’s because it’s in a basement location.

We arrived around 9,20 and were informed that the last order is taken at 9,30 but the waiter was so kind as to suggest what yakitori to order since we weren’t ordering the Omakase Menu. Really nice atmosphere and friendly service and every Yakitori we tried was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Visited in Jan ‘24 with my family on the back of positive reviews. Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere, mainly locals. We did not do the Omakase menu but our very helpful English speaking host helped us navigate the menu and made useful suggestions on dishes. Overall a great experience and would recommend!

After just arriving in Tokyo on a Sunday evening, I took my two teens out to grab a bite. We had a few requirements…the spot needed to be in walking distance, serve chicken in different ways including ramen, and take credit cards. When we arrived, this spot was exactly what we needed and more. The vibe was relaxed and had wonderful jazz music being played. Everyone greeted us with smiles and seated us at the counter, which made it fun to watch all the goings on. The staff helped us find food that would accommodate my youngest as well as our various levels of hunger. Everything was tasty, even my picky eater loved it. We were so happy we found this spot on our first night in Tokyo and might even go back before we leave town. Thanks for a lovely night!

Excellent food and service! We couldn’t get a reservation so we went over in hopes of waiting for a spot and they fit us in. Dishes came out quickly and we loved sitting at the bar watching them prepare each one.

Bad start being “welcomed” by a barking lady because I dared walking 20 centimetres in the no-shoes area… As a foreigner, and nothing indicated, I was expecting a “hirasaimase” more then this awkward introduction. Not Japanese manners for sure. Second not so good, we were sat uncomfortably on a smoky and hot mezzanine on the floor…. I politely enquired if we could move to one of the comfortable table downstairs but was told they were booked. They were actually still empty when we left… May be I would have got a better treatment f I were Japanese ? The evening was kind of saved by the great Japanese-Australian waitress who attended us and was really great. Food is ok, nothing to rave about, and with an additional charge if you go for A La carte instead of Omakase. Only the rice with chicken and smoked duck are worth a special mention. So, not really worth the hassle of finding this place secluded in a Ginza basement.

We visited after a recommendation from our hotel. We ordered a la carte and all the food was delicious and the staff so kind and friendly. Mini crème brûlée was the perfect end to a yummy meal!

Staying locally and found on Trip Advisor...thanks for the recommendations.. Great friendly helpful staff, good English if needed including menus, authentic (shoes off) with mainly locals dining - unassuming back street entrance so added a photo to guide you on your way Yakatori skewers a speciality but tofu soup and deep fried onion delicious also...plenty of sake to choose from if in the mood...enjoy

The food was fabulous and the service was equally fantastic, all of the staff made us feel welcome and made sure we weren’t ordering too much or too little food, but the atmosphere just made it so special.
