This is a great example of kaiten zushi. Simple, unpretentious, and inexpensive. They're not going to have every ingredient the fancier places might have (shiso, or uni), but what they do, they do well. I had a salmon combo plate that was to die for!...For travelers, they have an english menu if needed. (also chinese and korean). They also have some non-sushi choices, such as a few varieties of miso soup. And beer and sake. It's convenient from Shinjuku station.More

Our favorite conveyor sushi restaurant that is- the Sushi, as you might expect, is very fresh and just all around delicious. The variety that the chefs provided was on point, whereas other restaurants kept repeating the same rolls. It was also not too busy, which...was surprising for the quality. This was the first one we went to in Japan and subsequent conveyor belt sushi restaurants did not measure up!More

Sushi restaurant chosen randomly during walk around Shinjuku, but it was a pretty good shot. Everything was fresh, high quality, very tasty and didn't ruin my wallet. And remember - colors of the plates are important :)

We were a bit worried by a few of the reviews regarding the service - but it was fine! They were nice but don’t expect Michelin service either. They gave us a menu when hubby noticed no tuna on the train and we got our...ordered sushi quickly! Sushi was fresh and delicious. However the rice was a little on the sweet side. You also get your usual green tea on tap. Great meal near the station! Definitely worth it if you’re in the area and wanting something cheaperMore

Traditional conveyor belt sushi. Although we don't eat raw fish, good variety of cooked sushi available. They have english menu as well! Just point and tell the staff the number of plates, with will have it freshly made for you if not on the belt....Chawamushi Y120, Miso soup with crab/clams also Y120 and both were tasty! Spent Y1600++ for 2 pax and were super satisfied. Recommended!!More

This outlet at Nishi Shinjuku crossing was small. Easy to find with google. The sushi was fresh. The prices were reasonable. The sushi variety was OK but when we asked in Japanese for a special order, we were ignored. So, unfortunately this outlet was not friendly...to foreigners. The best part of our experience was not waiting for 2 seats on a Sunday afternoon.More

We went as a family of 4 and we had a good treat of Sushi. Ingredients were fresh and the taste was very well balanced. I feel that for the price, the quality was really good and I'd recommend for anyone to give it a...shot! definitely well worth the visit if you're in the area.More

Quality of sushi for the price was reasonable. Very popular with locals, english menu abailable. Feel free to take the sushi from the conveyor or order off the menu.

Not my favorite in the area, but definitely a good choice. Good price for the quality. Make sure you keep count on what you eat otherwise can be really expensive

We wanted to have late dinner and stumbled across this sushi place. We went in and was amazed by how good service and fast the food was delivered. The medium fat tuna was amazing!!!

There are cheaper places out there, plus the chefs kept making batches of the same plates at a time instead of varying the plates they were preparing, to the point where patrons had to constantly request what they desires to eat. Bad service.

Searched trip advisor for a local sushi place as I refuse to pay the astronomical amounts charged by our hotel. This place was great. Went at 7pm & didn't have to wait too long. Nice selection, all tasty. Highly recommend.

Ganso is a chain of conveyor belt Sushi restaurants found throughout Tokyo. It's on the lower end of the price scale, the restaurants aren't much to look at, I would say they look a little like subway. As a low budget choice it's fine; you...get loads on choice and the sushi is good, but not great. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.More

Good selection of delicious sushi going round the conveyor although you can order stuff to be made up if it isn't whizzing round. Good value and good service. Free green tea. Open till 11pm although understandably the selection gets a bit low towards closing to...prevent a glut of unsold food.More
