Had a very pleasant dinner with my friend. The cost is reasonable, with a highly satisfying meal available for average 50$ per person, offering great value for money. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, making it ideal for gatherings with friends or family. It's conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from Ueno, the main JR station, which makes it easy to access. What stood out to me the most was the attentive service provided by the waitstaff. Premium dishes, like the Wagyu beef sukiyaki, are cooked right in front of you by the waiters to ensure the perfect temperature. Overall, this yakiniku restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

My friend booked their dinner for my birthday celebration and the experience was quite good. The price is affordable, you can have a very satisfying meal for just 6,000 yen, which is excellent value for money. The restaurant is nice and cozy, perfect for a get-together with friends or family. The location is also conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from Ueno, the main JR station, making it easy to get around. What impressed me most was the attentive service of the waiters. Some of the premium dishes, such as the Wagyu beef sukiyaki, are cooked in front of you by the waiters to make sure the heat is just right. Overall, this is a yakiniku restaurant worth checking out.

This week, I dined with friends visiting Tokyo at a wagyu yakiniku restaurant. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk from the station, making it very easy to find. The restaurant is on the 10th floor, and as soon as you step out of the elevator, you’re at the entrance. They display the beef they serve right at the entrance, which is reassuring.
Since it was our first time, we chose the 6,900 yen tasting course to sample a bit of everything. The course includes most of the popular dishes, so you get a good variety. The dipping sauces were the usual three: soy sauce-based yakiniku sauce and lemon juice.
One of their signature dishes was the raw beef, which my friends and I enjoyed since we’re not opposed to eating raw meat. The sauce had a sweet flavor and was very tasty. The special grilled beef tongue was lightly salted, with a mild flavor, and was incredibly tender.
Next was the 3-second seared beef, prepared at the table by the staff. The beef slices were thin and only needed a brief grill, hence the name “3-second seared beef.” After grilling, the beef was dipped in a raw egg yolk, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture was perfect! We couldn’t resist ordering a bowl of rice to go with it (which we actually did).
The yakiniku platter featured signature cuts, juicy and perfect with rice. The offal platter included two types: beef intestines and tripe. We all preferred the tripe, as we weren’t used to the intestines, so no comments on that.
For the final course and dessert, there was a choice between cold noodles and dessert. The cold noodles came with vinegar on the side and were authentically North Korean style. You could also mix in leftover kimchi from earlier, which paired well. The dessert options were a silky pudding or lemon ice cream. We all chose the pudding, which came with caramel sauce on the side. It was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet.
In conclusion, at this price point, being able to enjoy wagyu beef is an excellent value! The location is also very convenient. Whether you’re a tourist or gathering with friends, this place is a great choice!

I went to this restaurant with friends, and it's very close to Ueno Station, which is very convenient. The atmosphere in the restaurant is elegant and warm, with soft lighting. The set menu is rich and diverse, featuring various parts of wagyu beef, and I especially liked the grilled meat with the sukiyaki style paired with egg yolk—it was aromatic and delicious. The waitstaff are skilled at grilling, and they manage the cooking perfectly, making the visual experience enjoyable as well. The dessert of pudding is delicate, and the lemon sorbet is refreshing and cleansing. The self-service ordering via QR code is very friendly for tourists, and overall, it has a high cost-performance ratio. I highly recommend it.

I went to this high quality wagyu barbecue restaurant with my friends located in Ueno. We ordered the [USHIHACHI Set] recommended by the restaurant, and I couldn't believe it was only 6,900 yen per person. Besides Korean kimchi, salad, and beef tongue, the set included the restaurant's signature raw wagyu, wagyu platter (with four different parts of meat), wagyu intestines, and wagyu liver. The beef was even grilled by a professional staff member, who also asked about your preferred level of doneness. The service was excellent. We ate our wagyu paired with raw egg, the meal was absolutely delicious.
After finishing the meat, there was also tasty Korean cold noodles to cleanse the palate, and the homemade pudding dessert made the meal truly worth every "Yen". Plus, the restaurant is on the 10th floor, so you can enjoy your meal while taking in the beautiful Tokyo night view. It’s definitely on our list for a return visit.

This restaurant is close to the commercial station, which I found on Google Maps. The dining environment was great (although I forgot to take a picture), the service was great, and it was easy to scan the code to order. We ordered a 6,000+ yen set menu and the meat was delicious. My friends thought it was so good that they added a few additional servings of the meat that we all enjoyed. Overall everyone was more than satisfied.

*Dining environment:
The location is convenient, you can get there within 5 minutes on foot from the Asakusa Exit of Ueno Station. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and has a large window view. I saw the sunset this time, which was very beautiful. The night view was also very beautiful, too. The location is spacious, and you won't feel crowded. I felt a little cold at the end of the meal, maybe this was because I’m sitting at the air-conditioning outlet. There was no strong smell of roasted meat in the store, and even when I went home after the meal, I don’t smell of roasted meat at all, which is very great!
*Meal comment:
The dish we chose for this meal was the うしはちコース for ¥6900. The set menu has 9 dishes in total and the drinks are all-you-can-drink. What impressed me the most among the set menus were the『和牛ユッケ』and the『とろ肉の秒炙3り』. 『和牛ユッケ』eaten at the front was very appetizing. 『とろ肉の秒炙3り』was grilled by the staff. The perfect degree of doneness and the raw egg yolk surprised me. Overall, their meat is in a good quality and the portions are just right. However, the desserts are relatively monotonous. The『絹ごしホ ームメイドプリン』is rich and the syrup is just right; the『レモンシャーベ ット』is a little sour.

The meat was top-notch. The marbling on the Wagyu was beautiful, and it smelled amazing on the grill. It was super tender, with the fat melting in my mouth, bursting with flavor. Every bite was so satisfying, I just wanted more.
The service was great too—friendly and helpful, and the music made the atmosphere really chill.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
