It’s a very interesting style of serving. You don’t have visual contact with the waiter, not so much with other costumers. Unlike in Brazil, it’s a pork broth, not a soy broth. The ramen is very good, hot, tasty. And it has a good price.

Went for lunch around 12pm. There was a line but it moved fast. Ordering was done before being seated (through a vending machine) and we could customise our order at our seats (eg. firmness of the noodles, special requests etc.). Additional orders are also accepted with cash. Noodles were good, and the chashu was also very tender. Would go back again!

Fantastic restaurant, and great food. You can pick how you like your soup, spice texture of noodles and spiciness. The booths are great if you want to eat alone or as a couple as the partition folds away if you want. We went twice and loved the food and experience. Don’t let the queue put you as this is well worth a visit, and the price is very cheap. Back home and missing this already 👍

10/10 was the consensus from our team of travellers. The ramen was delicious (splash out for the premium - it won't disappoint!) and the seating was fun (we all sat at a long table with the individual seating dividers folded away). The ramen was delivered through a slot from the kitchen - brilliant! Don't worry if there is a queue - it will move quickly. Highly recommended!

Authentic Japanese Ramen 🍜 experience in Ueno. Individual ramen booth. Long lines remind me of TSA line 😂 . They keep extending the lines. But it’s worth it. Different types of ramen ( soft/ medium/ firm) , level of spices . Single meal or meal set with extra cha siu, 🥚 egg, seaweed & kelp.

A fantastic dining experience. The ramen was tasty and rich in flavor. The broth was excellent, and the systematic arrangement of the place was impressive. I will definitely be returning for more of this delicious ichiran.

the queue for this place was really long when i arrived, but safe to say that the experience was worth the wait. for such a long queue, everything moved along pretty fast some ichiran places don't have as much of their special spice that they used to have when i visited before covid, but this place seems to have stayed the same. a lot of booth seats, which i think are what makes ichirans so special, so i really appreciated being able to have one to experience it

Go here. It's worth the hype. Usually a queue, which moves quickly. Great food and service. Just go.... Have the egg. Go with extra garlic.

Just happen to pass by and there is no Q. Strong favour and soup is more to salty. Just normal ramen.

Not a big fan of ramen but this is the best I've had. A great experience where you're told to focus on the flavour of the food with minimum distractions

Good ramen and a cool atmosphere. A little bit of que to get in, but that just brought extra spice to the expectations. Recommended for everyone who wants to try ramen.

Came here on a rainy day - ramen weather! The line wasn't long so we got inside quickly. The procedure was simple - you pick want you want on the kiosk, pay (in cash or your Suica card) and then take your ticket. Once you sit down, you put your ticket on the edge of the table next to the window for the server to take. You also choose how you want your noodles cooked, strength of the broth, etc. The ramen was deliciously satisfying - rich fatty broth, soft chashu and firm noodles. It was a great way to warm up on a chilly rainy day. Lastly, I love that each stall has a water tap.

The original still taste the best, the quality of the food doesn't change over these years. the thick rich broth adds to the chewy noodles, makes the ramen a complete enjoyment. you choose how they cook your ramen..

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
