Best ramen on earth, simple, They have a few locations but the one either with the golden dragon above it or the indoor one down the road are my preffered spots, good priced and super tasty, you can add kimchi and they have average rice...if you want it but the key is the soup, noodles are also perfect.More

I find it quite amusing that some people are rating this the "best ramen ever". Not surprisingly some of them are even confessing that this was their first and only. Anyway, this is far from being good ramen. Perhaps not the world's worst either, but...quite on the trashy side. Soup is thin and on the salty side, tasting like package mix. The noodle is vastly ordinary and the charshu is tough, even though they try to slice it thinly. There's a pinch of green onions and one can get some diced fresh garlic and kimchi, but none of which can make the experience more worthwhile. This ramen is certainly NOT a must for the first times in Dotonburi. I just had it from a historical curiosity POV, as I'm a bit of a ramenhead, but there are thousands of better options in the area, including dozens of other iconic joints of typical Osaka foods. And what is the story with those seats? They are perfect if you want to seat with your back to the food. Or else, if you have legs and you still want to face the food, you will be performing a risky spinal twist. It's ok if you don't have legs though.More

It was my first time in japan, and eat it after a long day of walking, the best ramen EVER. The taste is amazing and the extra pork 🤤

Nothing special about the ramen here but I stopped by here shortly after a round of drinks with some friends. Would go back again and consciously taste the ramen!

During our time at Osaka, we just passed by this restaurant with tatami mat seating and just along the roadside. There was a line of people waiting to be seated so we eventually tried and it was so delicious. The best ramen we ever tasted,...seriously. And at the price point, it is also a value for your money. The thickness of the broth and the thinly sliced pork together with the ramen noodles are just a slice of heaven. Plus they offer unlimited garlic and kimchi so it's really worth it.More

Simple restaurant along busy Dotonbori serving seriously excellent soup ramen. Soup is very good and flavourful, well cooked chahsu with good firm ramen. Free flow sides of kimchi, chives and garlic to add on which really elevates the bowl. Having tried Ichiran, I would prefer...this one. Price also way cheaper. Just excellent.More

The meat was good, the soup was good, the noodles were perfect. The service was incredibly fast. The seats are kind of awkward.

There are only 5 Kinryu Ramen restaurants in the Namba area, and this ramen is able to taste only in Namba. This restaurant is opened A ramen boom is open 1982, the originator of Namba Ramen. hot light pork bone soup and noodles are a...good pairing, the taste can experience only here. A style to sit down on the tatami mat, and to eat is a characteristic here. More

Ramen overall quality 4/10. Meat was overcooked, ramen noodle not so fine. Broth also not up to par. The shop does not look too clean and it kind of smells.

Walked in off the street for a rest from the madness that is Dotonbori at halloween. There was a bit of a queue. 15 min or so, but we'd become accustomed to this in our Japanese travels. The ramen was great. Beautiful pork. Nice flavour...of sesame in the soup. Choice of three additions, garlic, japanese chive, and kimchi. We were not aware that this place was popular when we arrived, but it is easy to see why. Great qualiry and value.More

In my Osaka trip, I tried 4-5 ramen restaurants. I like this as number 1. Soup has sesame oil is great. Noodle is soft and chashu pork is a soft bite. Every thing is the best for me.

Another famous ramen shop that is located in various parts of osaka. again its a self serving restaurant and you are seated on a raised tatami. Their tohkutso soup base is less flavourful compared with Ichiran but I prefer their Chasu pork more. As for...the ramen, I feel that both are equally nice and done perfectly. Portion is are adequate. Kinryu however is priced cheaper than ichiran and there is a free flow of kimchi, garlic and chinese chives, which you can eat separately or add it into the ramen for added taste. Personally I like the classic version without any add on. Try both and decide for yourself!More

broth tasted v light and flavourful, something that i could drink the whole bowl and not get sick of. Very different from your typical ramen store in terms of food (taste like a chicken base but i could be wrong) and ambiance (outside seating). sides...of chives and kimchi really elevated the dish. love this more than ichiran and this says alottttt. DO TRY IT IF YOURE IN THE AREA.More

Simple, basic tonkotsu ramen shop in crowded, touristy Dotonbori. Only two choices: plain noodle soup or soup with chashu pork (but the lady in front of me still took forever to decide). Easy to order from the machine (insert $, select quantity, select ramen type,...take change/ticket, give ticket to staff). Food came out quick and you can add free kimchi, garlic, rice. Water is free too. You eat at tables with Japanese style seats (flat cushions on raised platforms) so you have to sit cross-legged or kneeling; if you can't do that you'll have to stand. The ramen was good. The broth was rich and tasty, with beads of glistening pork fat on top, and the noodles were not too soft or hard. On the down side, you can't customize your order by specifying how you want the noodles or broth, or by adding an egg, etc. a la Ichiran. But the chashu was good, juicy and tender. btw tonkotsu means pork bone which is used to create the rich broth. Good value overall.More

Located at Dontobori and open 24 hour, Kin Ryu Ramen is the type of dish you could have for breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper. The noodle is soft and the soup is medium in richness, you could also top it up with some kimche which...is the recommended things to do.More
