Very quiet restaurant, but the staff are so friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. Introduced us to the amazing kartoflugrydd (chip spice) and gave us advice on walking and the local area. Not to mention how amazing the food tasted! I'd recommend the chicken sandwich and the bacon burger, they were delicious!

This place is a sports-bar that at times attempts to be a restaurant. Different strokes for different folks but I thought the food was terrible. Went with Icelanders and they also thought the food was terrible. Best to stick with it as a sports-bar or pub.

This place is off the main road by a grocery store but well worth looking for. The pizza is very good and also the burgers. The staff was very friendly and nice. You can order your pizza with just the toppings you want.,

The White Knight is tucked into the corner of a small suburban shopping plaza and looks pretty uninviting on the outside. But inside the welcome is warm and the food is good. We had the fish of the day--cod--which was fresh and delicious, though the sauce was a little heavy. It came with delicious veggies as well. The hamburger and... More

I ate here three times with friends. We had pizzas, burgers, chicken with sauce and sweet and ordinary potatoes and chicken burritos. The good was plentiful, tasty and good value. There is a healthy football following by locals with huge screen showing matches. Beer and wine is 30%% cheaper between 5 and 7 pm. If staying at the hotel laxnes... More

The White Knight is set in a small precinct in Mosfellbaeur and from the outside you could easily walk past and not give it a second glance. However, it serves great food, even if the menu is not the most diverse, great beer which by Icelandic standards is reasonably priced. They also shows plenty of sports. More importantly, however, it... More

My husband and I had a fantastic fresh fish dinner at Hviti Riddarinn (White Knight) last night. It was served with sautéed vegetables, delicious sauce and arugula sprinkled on top. All in a sports bar and with a 10% discount for staying at Hotel Laxnes!

Good restaurant and bar in the heart of Mosfellsbaer. Short walk from Hotel Laxnes and next to the largest super-market chain in Iceland. Great quality food, the best place in town to watch the sports and live music on fridays. We have three large HD projectors and 4 televisions so you can enjoy your favorite sports to the fullest. Fully equipped bar with a great icelandic beer selection.
