Went for dinner after a recommendation. Like the name suggests, there were beautiful St Bernard's lounging around, much to the delight of my ten month old. The food was well priced for its generous servings. The bartender was lovely and made lovely mojitos. We look forward to going back!

Had dinner here on a Sunday night and were looked after by very friendly staff. All meals were delicious - a little disappointed that the coffee was turned off so early though

We were meant to eat somewhere else on Tamborine but our hosts changed the plans at the last minute. So glad they did. The food was beautiful, view to die for (hard-pressed to find better the world over) and lovely, old-world charm. My kids loved exploring the gardens. I'm looking forward to another visit.

Had a family get together for Melbourne Cup and it was lovely. No stress at all - could sit where we wanted -had lovely views and TV access near table. Food was continuous and filling. Service was quick and very polite. Some visitors we had were from UK and the experience was very positive-highlighted the place and the atmosphere.

Driving by this place looked great. Stunning views and a warm greeting by two lovely St. Bernards was the best part. Perhaps the only part worth a stop. The food was served as in a cafeteria and even charged an extra 20p for tomato sauce. All that aside the food still did taste good. And those dogs? Adorable!!

Was there Saturday night with family, ordered lemon and pepper calamari which consisted of a few pieces of squid on a bed of lettuce with two small pieces of tomato and cucumber, no chips. $27, the other meals were poor too and expensive. Guess you pay for the gardens which are lovely but wouldn't eat there again.

The meals weren't particularly large but they satisfied. I ordered the vegetarian lasagne which was quite small & overdone on the cheese. My partner had the guinness pie again quite small but he enjoyed the flavour. It had a nice atmosphere & the staff were friendly.

Great view and setting however meal was very poor. The ploughmans lunch had limp lettuce, that was rotten in parts, the cold meat was days old & actually smelt, the fruit had been chopped probably 2 days earlier & looked & tasted stale. Could not even get a glass of water. They had a nice dog.

This historic hotel on top of the tambourine mountain is full of photographs and mementos of its 100+ years of operation. It is sited on a large, well looked after garden full of birds (including visits from a spectacular peacock) with astonishing 140-180 degree views from Logan/Beenleigh to the north down to Burley at the south and out to the...
