Ate here for lunch while touring Badlands. Had the Indian fry bread taco and was good. Service was fast and prices were reasonable. Would eat here again and recommend.

Service was good. Pancakes were ok. Bacon was crispy, tasty, and good. Real butter! Nothing much to speak of. Skip the berry "pudding"...it's just blueberry syrup.

Although there is not alot of variety on the menu. The food was amazing. The fry bread in the tacos was so fresh. Convenient location and close to our hotel and visitor centre. The restaurant lacked ambiance and felt like a cafeteria vs an intimate...More

Definitely try the Indian Tacos - fantastic fry bread or bannock with the typical taco trimmings with bison! A truly authentic and unforgettable dish! The huckleberry dressing on the salad was also fantastic and offered a refreshing healthy meal in the heart of meat and...More

A dumpy restaurant with crappy food! Better food at the gas station! The only regret of the vacation was eating dinner there. And the manager is a little @#$_&!

My bison burger was fine but the service was slow. Our waitress did apolgize and was helpful. There were also a lot of flies in the restaurant which was off putting.

Loved Badlands National Park! We rode our motorcycle to our reserved motel that had a restaurant and gift shop too. I'd read mixed reviews about the food and it was suggested that selecting a simple meal was best. The staff were very hospitable but the...More

My wife and vacationed in the Badlands and had a great time. Since we stayed at Cedar Pass Lodge, we ate most of meals at the restaurant. We ate breakfast and dinner there and they were very good. They even offered gluten free toast, which...More

We stayed in the cabins for 2 nights and ate dinner here on one of the nights. My husband and I both ordered the Indian Taco. So good!! Our waitress was great! There is a great kids menu selection.

Food was good with offerings of an Indian taco, buffalo burgers and a salad bar among other things. It is a basic menu, but good with good service.

Description
Located inside historic Cedar Pass Lodge in Badlands National Park we are open seasonally serving visitors breakfast, lunch and dinner from April 15 until October 15. If you don't have time for a sit down meal, the store also sells "Grab N Go" sandwiches, salads and snacks. For years we have been known for serving visitors to the Badlands our authentic Sioux Indian Frybread - homemade. Diners also have a variety of options from fresh soup and salad bar to wraps, salads, chicken, Tatanka dogs, plus locally sourced buffalo and beef. Not only will you find healthy options, we also offer South Dakota made wine, beer and desserts, too, including the official dessert of South Dakota - Kuchen. We truck in SD State University ice cream from the school's dairy farm and creamery in Brookings, SD where they raise cattle and process their own ice cream. It is delicious! We are the only place in the western part of the state to be fortunate enough to have this scrumptious addition for your pleasure! Pleased to be serving our guests during the 2014 season during the following schedule: Apr. 15 - May 24: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm May 25 - Sept. 2: 7:00 Am - 9:00 pm Sept. 3 - Sept. 30: 7:00 Am - 8:00 pm Oct. 1 - Oct. 13: 8:00 Am - 6:00 pm Last seating in the restaurant is 30 minutes prior to Cedar Pass Store closing. Bus Tours Welcome - especially with advance notice!
