dinners seemed a little pricey, so we chose a late lunch (12-2). ordered the cobb salad too - the chicken was unfortunately too dry.

Wow, after a long day of Death Valley activities, we had a great dinner at the Furnace Creek Inn. We didn't have a reservation but we arrived at the hotel at 5:00pm and the restaurant opens at 5:30pm. Thankfully Ian, the maitre d, found us a table for 5. We had three boys, two teenagers and a 12 yr old.... More

Very good food but very limited menu for lunch which is the only time we went. Service fantastic. Interesting servers if you want to talk, but not intrusive if you dont want to. Kept glasses and drinks refilled. We left our credit card there and they took care of it.

Old school dining in the desert - albeit relaxed and semi informal. What an oasis in the middle of nowhere and the price was reasonable too. Take cocktails on the terrace, watch the sunset and then view the lowest point in North America - what great experience. Then dinner in a great restaurant. The food and service were perfect. Four... We had friends go here for breakfast last year. I told all my friends I didn't care where else we went but I was going here for breakfast one morning. We had 8 of us so I called the day before to make reservations for 9:30am. When we got there a table was already set up between the window and... More

After driving through the amazing Death Valley desert where there were no signs of any buildings of any type out of the blue popped the Furnace Creek Inn. It was a perfect place to stop for lunch. A beautiful historic building with a lovely classy dining room. Prices were great and we enjoyed our meals and the service.

After two fails at The Ranch at Furnace Creek, we opted for dinner at the Inn at Furnace Creek. Dinner was so satisfying that night, we made a reservation for the following night. We also enjoyed breakfast there. The service was consistently excellent. The food was quite good. Relatively expensive, but dining in a national park with few alternatives. If... More

We chose to eat one meal at the historic Inn. It was an intimate dining room and would have had a wonderful view if we had gotten there earlier. Our server was very friendly and helpful, the food excellent. Reservations are recommended.

The menu is limited and that was a good thing. First off, there is something for everyone. I had fish for dinner and it was excellent. My companions had a pasta dish which was top notch. someone else had chicken which was also good. Everyone liked the salads. The service was quite good and friendly.
