The best part... friendly, efficient staff. The food is a tad expensive and just okay. They have the potential to make a few tweaks and things could be so much better. How about more broth based soup options? Really good pizza? Ho-hum

Warm cozy atmosphere inside the national park. Breakfast had many choices. At dinner we brought our own bottle of wine for a $10 corkage fee; service was very good. Food is good, yes a little pricey as it usually is within a national park. So convenient to stay at the lodge and request a shuttle back to the room in... More

If you are staying at the lodge you will probably want to make a reservation here to eat, as there is basically no other restaurant in the national park. Be sure to make a reservation when you check it. The front desk won't remind you. They only take a few reservations every half hour and are very strict. We were... More

We stayed at the Wuksachi and attended this restaurant for the buffet breakfast. Lots of choice of warm and cold food options and a live cooking station for omelettes or French toast etc. We enjoyed our breakfast, although fairly basic for the price. We also tried the same restaurant for an evening meal – which we sadly did not enjoy.... More

We visited the park for the first time and found that the off season is not the time to find food. We tried the Lodge pole and their deli was closed (maybe for the season). Continued up the rode and found The Peaks. A 20 minute wait to get in. Once seated, the wait staff was very slow to get... More

The restaurant is first rate all the way. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The dinner we had was excellent. The only down side is the price is a little high but was expected since your are in a National Park. We would definitely eat here again if or when we return to Sequoia National... More

Great views and food are found at Wuksachi Lodge. I have stayed at the lodge several times and enjoyed the experience, summer or winter. Be prepared for weather if in the winter and bring chains. They have snow-shoes to rent too. I have also just driven up for day and had lunch to enjoy the area, see the trees and... More

I had dinner at the Peaks Restaurant twice during my stay at Wukasachi Lodge. On the first occasion, I dined in the bar (full menu available). On the second night, I was in the main dining room. The bar is just a few steps from reception and offers a few tables, a television and wi-fi. The dining room has large... More

We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant in the middle of the Sequoia National Park at 7,250 feet elevation. There is a forth of places to eat more than bar food in the entire region including Kings Canyon National Park and Forest as well as Sequoia National Park and Forest. This is a gem. The staff is pleasant, attentive, efficient,... More
