In our group of 4, two of us were delightful and 2 were disappointed. Culinary highlights: 1) grilled fish in curry and coconut sauce - absolutely divine. 2) Grilled chicken plate - savoury. This little restaurant on the west coast of beautiful Guadeloupe island is one of best in the caribbean. The staff is extremely friendly and tried their best to accommodate our request for dining even outside their opeing hours. They actually reserved 2 tables, to enable...choosing should the weather (wind) change. The view to the sea on the west side of the island results in one of the most beautiful views when dining. The selection of menues and dishes is satisfying every taste - emphasis (of course) is on seafood (the lobster was one of the best ever tasted), beef staek was grilled to order and tender as can be, fries homemeade and souces added as taste explosion - unparalleled in the caribbean. Selection of beverages is small but fits meals perfectly. Prices really affordable to moderate, staff is serving before you even think of ordering (at least it feels like this :-)) . All-in-all, it would be a real miss not to visit this place when you are near Guadeloupe island - with sailboat or cruise you would anchor and let you pickup by local fisherman. Since none of the company is fluent i french language, we hade some problems ordering until the server asked if we knew spanish, which one of us did. Hade a variety of fish and seafood, all meals well combined. Only downside is that you have...one lane of the N1 passing outside which during busier hours I imagine can be a problem since we were a bit annoyed at eveningtimeMore

Pleasant and clean restaurant. Service is good and friendly. We had a really good lunch, fresh local food with reasonably prices. Highly recomended!

This place is amazing! The service is super friendly and they serve with a smile. Going the extra mile. Also, the food is delicious! Freshly made, portions are royal and tasty. We came in at 7pm being quite hungry. Our previous experience in LeGosier' restaurant didn't encourage us to go a-la-carte. We had four fix-price dinners $12(for 7 to),$16 and one $22. Exceeded our expectations. The fish was fresh and well made, the chicken came juicy...and sides were really good. We had two pitchers of vin blanc which were very very drinkable for no-name wine. Having almost zero French we managed to communicate with a waitress just fine. Hard to believe but we spent there 2 hours enjoying the food and conversation.More

So friendly, excellent meal .... be sure to make a reservation. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and the chef, who took the reservation, was happy to squeeze us in on a very busy night for them. Food was excellent, superb fish dishes.
