Lovely meal here, great value for money, fantastic surroundings. A lovely beer garden out the back with a fountain, didn't realise it was there until I went to the loo.

Visited for lunch with family on Sunday lunchtime. The pub was warm and cosy with some 19th century charm. Service was efficient. Food came out quickly and was fairly priced for the quality.

Large pub with good parking but staff not very friendly and menus difficult to find or sort out what was available. Staff not very attentive. Very busy but just managed to find a table close to the door which was draughty and noisy. Bar very busy so eventually gave up and went elsewhere. This was very different from our good... More

Stopped in for a coffee. Lovely surroundings and a warm welcome. Plenty of people eating and the food looked great! Will eat here next time!

We were staying close to Pooley Bridge so decided to eat in the village. The Pooley Bridge Inn had plenty parking spaces and looked inviting, so we ventured in for an evening meal. The staff were welcoming, a few customers in, a bit rustic but we decided to stay. We both had the tempura king prawn starter, which was terrible.... More

Very unusual style building and decor in keeping so in no way contemporary. Food was really nice home-cooking with very generous portions.

The hotel has a great standard of food and managed to cope with our party of 27 of us. We enjoyed a good beef roast and several other courses off the menu. All came quite quickly and was hot. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would book again if the family are all visiting the area again. Thank you.

Sumptuous beef dinner with all the trimmings, and the Lamb Henry was delicious while it was whale and chips not fish! Definitely recommended.
