Called here with some friends at lunchtime. The restaurant was very busy which I always think is a good sign. We each ordered a panani which was accompanied with a very tasty side salad. Service was good and the staff friendly. This is a quirky little place - bit on the chilly side so go prepared. The downside was when... More

If, like me, you like a cooked breakfast, then their 'Mini Fry' is the best in town. I know cos I've tried all spots in town!!! And in the good weather you can eat in their outside area! What could be better?

I ordered the pepper sauce burger and chips it cost just under £7 it was OK tho the sauce being on the burger already turned the bap to mush. Traybakes... More

It is only good but I can't label that here. I asked for seniors dinner from a sour looking lady. I choose roast beef with all the trimmings. After about ten mins it arrived well presented. But the plate was cold and I had heard the ding of the microwave which alerted me. The roast beef was thin shop bought... More

Yes it is getting more difficult, but our search took us to Moira today, I am referring of course to finding a restaurant that does not open boxes of frozen food stick it in the M/Wave and try and pretend it is fresh???. Pimento, Main St Moira serves fresh food made daily, as you enter the front door you are... More

The cafe was busy over lunch-time and the service was prompt. We had a chicken, mushroom and pepper panini and a ham and brie quiche. Both meals were well presented, tasty and the portion sizes were very good. We were too full to order dessert. Quirky place, next time I'll just go for a cuppa and dessert!!!

Called in with my husband for breakfast and even though there was only one other couple finishing their food, we were distinctly underwhelmed by the welcome. Three members of staff merrily ignored us and eventually when the fair haired waitress did come to our table she was definitely not welcoming or helpful. She returned to our table three more times... I've been here several times over the years as I pass through the village and it's still good. That's not always easy for cafes and restaurants to maintain. The interior is quaint and there's a small outside area to sit on dry/warm days. The staff are helpful and attentive and as the title of this review suggests, the scones are... More

Been here many times and Diane and her staff are always so welcoming. The food is first class and I would not hesitate in recommending Pimento to any one.
