Eating a massive stew of wild boar and chips when it is 30 degrees in the shade and you still have two hours of cycling left to do is perhaps not the most sensible thing to do. However, the restaurant was lovely and cool inside,...service was with a smile, the chips were homemade, the stew was rich and delicious and too much for 5 cyclists to finish. Great value for money. So authentic. Frequented by locals. Amazing value for money. It’s the real deal.More

We stopped by this restaurant on a sunny afternoon for a drink only, but the food looked good so we decided to have some lunch. We had some tapas followed by a some wild boar stew. All the food was well cooked and tasty and...the wine was good. The bill came to just over 30 euros for 3 people, so great value too, we would recommend.More

We visited El Jabali a sunny day in June, was invited by friends knowing about the restaurant!!It became a Lovely experience!!The people was so nice and we had a lunch SO good.A claypot filled with a very tender Jabali-Wildboar in a lovely sauce, that was the starter,booked...in advance, for us to taste! Then the big paella, valencian style, came on the table,a VERY good taste memory. The red wine ,very tasty together with the food!!"Postres", these Days in June,of course "Ceresas",cherries,BIG crispy, juicy red ones,on a big plate ,it could not be better! It is a rustic house,a terrace with the Mountains as a view, over all a homelike feeling!!We really want to recommend this Place for a nice lunch, when You are taking tours in La Vall de Gallinera, admiring the fantastic views.Beniali is ONE of the VERY pictueresque villages You can see in the area.GO there!!More
