For a change we thought we would try Sunday Lunch at the Nags Head having always been for Dinner.The Roast Beef was excellent also the Roast Chicken The puddings were first class.All professionals served.More

Great stay,good pint and fab food, good Yorkshire welcome. Room very clean and well appointed Will be back, some comments about the landlord is just us Yorkshire folks way !!!!! Good freshly cooked breakfast,lots of choice too ..

This is a perfect pit stop if you can find it and get off the motorway at the correct junction We were unlucky in that our car’s sat nav did not recognise the postcode and further had not upgraded itself to encompass the new motorway...More

My sister, her husband and I visited the Nags Head on 23rd August. I had a roasted butternut squash and wild mushroom risotto. It was amazing. The flavours were wonderful, I've never had a risotto like it. The lemon tart for pudding was wonderful too....More

On our way South looking for a lunch stop we found this lovely old pub near Thirsk. We only had sandwiches but what sandwiches! The food is absolutely delicious, very fresh and so tasty, service extremely good and friendly too. Thoroughly recommend it.
