Well i am not fond of luxury and expensive restaurant. So to be honest, coming to this restaurant, we are already have a very high expectation and afraid of being disappointed. Skeptical with the food taste. We ordered the "Le Menu du Chef" a 3 course Chef menu recommendation. Lol but well after trying the first bite of the appetizer,... More

First we got to learn about the wine making process and then had an excellent lunch while drinking the Chateaux Candale wines in this amazing setup overlooking the vinyards...

My husband and I had a delightful time at this winery/restaurant. The owner, Jean-Louis, is an engaging, thoroughly magnetic personality. You can feel his passion in the food they serve. His Chateau de Candale was wonderfully fruit forward. We had the day's plat...succulent beef and fettuccine after a nice butternut soup. The dessert would be hard to describe but it... More

We had dinner here and enjoyed the appetisers which were cream soups very much but our main and dessert were just alright. They have a large outdoor seating area with views of the nearby vineyards.

Wonderful food for very good price. Busy restaurant- you can see why people come back time and time again!! Really good food. Very highly recommended. Service great too. Staff very friendly. Why not do a wine tour too, and take some wine home.

A quality restaurant that is open for lunch and has an available table on short notice is very difficult to find in the Bordeaux region. We found this beautiful vineyard restaurant as we drove through the hills Saint-Laurent-Des-Combes not too far from the centre of St Emilion. We managed to book a table for two only an hour in advance.... More

I will definitely never be forgetting the meal I enjoyed at this beautifully picturesque location back in May - my only regret is not writing it a shining review sooner! The views from the restaurant over the vineyards are simply magnificent and the menu is full of local and seasonal produce. I had the duck as a main course and... More

Delicious and affordable lunch in a marvelous setting. Nice personal in an informal style. We were 14 (adults and children) and all had a great time. I will go back!
