Staff friendly, food not good. I chose Lemon Chicken as a starter, tough bits of fried chicken tasted of nothing. Main course was special fried rice, completely bland just a stodgy pile of rice, no flavour. Friend had chicken for starter again no flavour and curry for main, bland and no taste ….all very disappointing

We went to The Chimney restaurant in St. John, Antigua and everyone of us enjoyed food and customer service.
Nice ambiance and people. We had a very good family time and Warm welcome.
Owner himself came out and take a special interest in our orders.
Kishiorebhai and staff were excellent and most importantly food was delicious. We felt like we were eating in our hometown.
If you are traveling to Antigua this is a must go place.
You will sure enjoy food.
We were 10 people and all enjoyed food.

6 off us arrived for dinner and liked the outside wash basin but they didn't have a bin for your paper towel, when I questioned it I was told to give it to someone at the bar, really? Bad start.
We were seated and given menus and asked if we wanted to order drinks. The white wine arrived without an ice bucket and when we asked the waitress for one she seemed to not understand what it was we wanted. 10 minutes later it arrived.
The food offer is far to wide so can't all be cooked to order, some must be pre prepared and cooked from frozen. Also why open an Indian restaurant and offer food from an International menu? It is confussing and not needed.
The food arrived in a haphazard fashion, Some of us got what we ordered, one of us didn't and one didn't get anything until we challenged it and they rushed off to find a similar meal. I had a chicken curry which was all bone, the sauce was very nice but as a meal it was poor. One of us ordered a lamb dish which again was all bones but this time with the added advantage of lots of grissle and fat. Some of us had quite decent Indian food but the rest of us didn't. The service was appalling, badly trained waitress who mumbeled and also didn't listen. All the time the owners and family (or friends) sat on a table behind us and did nothing to aid this poor girl or indeed, us, to try and improve our experience. A shambles of a restaurant, poor service, poor food, no identity and over priced. Also they don't take credit cards which we were informed about when we tried to pay. They should have a sign telling people this We won't be going back

Hi All
We were looking for an India in St Johns we found three but chose The Chimney
Upon arrival it actually looked like a restaurant not a shack.
We were the only people inside all night but the kitchen never stopped for take away.
We started with G&T then Newzealand wire - very nice
The starters came they were so good
Then the two dishes and Nan bread absolutely delicious.
The bill can and was around £141 not cheap but very very good.

The Chimney was a really great find! We were craving Indian food, and this place delivered. We got a few appetizers and some main dishes. The food arrived promptly and was hot. The owners were really kind and offered great suggestions. They just opened but certainly will be here for a long time! The naan and malai kabab was very good - would definitely recommend!
