Barefoot is one of our favorites. You can dine under the thatched roof or out on the beach with your toes in the sand. Eclectic menu of seafood, steak and chicken dishes. The grouper is especially good and they serve a coffee-flavored creme brûlée that is fantastic. Be sure to arrive in time to watch the sunset over the water!

We really enjoy this location, eating dinner with our feet in the sand and watching the sunset. The food is very good. The service this time was very slow.

We visited while in port on Adventure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean. Our dinner at Barefoot was our second best meal of the trip (only beat out by lobster night on the ship as lobster is my favorite food)....to be fair, I did not order lobster at Barefoot. Our ahi appetizer (tuna two ways) was wonderful. I think we should... More

Party of 6 seated promptly with our 6:30 reservations. Waitress came over promptly and she was smiley and friendly, We had a table on the beach with our toes in the sand. We ordered Martinis and a chivas, martinis $8.50 and scotch $7.50, very reasonable. We ordered salads, which they were nice enough to split in kitchen for us. Our... More

Barefoot serves upscale cuisine to tables on the beach. Drinks were delicious; the menu had plenty of suitably fancy choices.i had the grouper with mango cream cheese and mango sauce. The sauce was delicious, the cream cheese overly sweet, and the fish slightly undercooked. My companion had a filet, which was delicious. The setting is delightful and the service excellent.

I wanted to first thank everyone at the Barefoot for an incredible evening. I had made the reservation quite a while in advance of our cruise visit knowing we did not depart until 11pm that day. I wanted a romantic beach dinner for our three couples on the sand so we could enjoy wine, great food and sunset on a... More

There was a group of 12 of us, we sat at a table in the sand watching the sunset while servers carfeully brought our food and drinks as to not block the sunset, it was beautiful. The place was packed, our food was hot and delicious, these folks move fast! I highly recommend this restaurant, it will not disappoint.

We had rented a Jeep for our time on the island, and finding Barefoot was only mildly challenging. You park in an area that looks like a public transit area, and walk across a sandy alley way to a fairly inconspicuous entryway. Once you get closer you can see the intricate photo-graphic/sign, with low contrast, which explains why it's hard... More

Service was great. Setting is unbelievable. Food was good. Make reservations far in advance. Waiters arrange for taxi after meals. Very helpfully

We have been to Barefoot a few times now when in Aruba and it never disappoints us. The setting is lovely right on the beach with your table in the sand. Go for the sunset and enjoy the incredible view, watch the planes arrive, or the cruise ships depart. The food is always fabulous. This year I had the rack... More

Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and Justin, with some of the old school favorites (sirloin with bearnaise, or tuna steak with teriyaki) as well as some original dishes not found anywhere, with unique combinations (smoked salmon & shrimp, grouper & mango or leg & rack of lamb) and wonderful vegetarian dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!
