We were starving after landing in Bonaire, and El Mundo's was the first place we found open. The service was very good even though the staff was a bit indifferent. The food was fine, but nothing special. The beer was at least cold on a hot day!

Stopped here for a beer and appetizer on our first day in Bonaire - nice little bar that was open air / partially covered. The soccer games were on and drew a small crowd. Had the bitten-ballen - very tasty. A lot of smokers here, but it is a bar, so it can be expected.

It was a delight to have a rum fruit punch at El Mondo, a covered open air restaurant/bar on the main drag. Particularly because so many other shops had closed on the Sunday we were there, which was also the second day of Carnival. What was better was how our large drinks (under $8 U.S.) had real rum in them,... More

Didn't enjoy El Mundo much. Maybe we visited on the wrong day, but the restaurant was almost empty where other restaurants in the neighborhood were loaded. The food we had was bland and the sparerib huge but very, very fat. The personnel was doing their best, so 2* instead of 1*.

My husband loves barracuda and it was very good at El Mundo. The escargot was ok but not great. the bar service is very limited. They served a vodka martini with the ice floating in the glass and did not know how to make a cosmo. I asked for grey goose vodka and got absolute. Stick to the food --they... More

We did the chef's table which was a fun experience. Some of the courses were more experimental than sucessful but all were creative and interesting. Would like to try the menu next time. Really fun place to be and personable staff.

Went for breakfast because they have the Dutch apple pancakes we were dying to have. Open air restaurant on the main street near the park, always busy and intriguing. Glad we got there early because service is kind of disconnected and slow. TV was blaring soccer game at 8 am which we had not planned on and restaurant quickly filled... More

My wife & I really enjoyed having lunch at this little outdoor restaurant. The restaurant is located not far from the cruise ship pier, just through a small village of shops towards the main street. The atmosphere was really nice & very relaxing. It is a great place to just sit & enjoy a drink.
