The restaurant we had booked to go to was closed...long story. Anyway we had heard this was a good place and went in on the off chance. The bar was rammed but a great lively atmosphere, and we were lucky to get a table in the really nice restaurant area at the back. We both had lobster dishes and they... More

Nice place for lunch and a drink and to listen to some amazing Cuban music. Not cheap but worth the little extra

The moment you step into Floriditas you can feel the atmosphere. It is always busy in the bar, yet everyone gets served. Usually there is a band playing, often with any people joining in. The daquiris are great! No wonder Hemingway came here to drink them. We also had a meal here which was lovely, and to say how many... More

This place was hopping! It was super crowded but the band was playing, we snagged a table, the waitress was very fast, very friendly and we loved every minute! Worth stopping in for a drink!

I guess its something for tourists to see and say they have been to. Everyone wants a pic with Ernest Hemingway. I wasn't however impressed with the daiquiri's, but the music was great!!

Super crowded and most people simply enter just to take photos. However, we had mango daiquiris and they were great. The old feel of the place and its history is awesome.

You visit Floridita for the history and experience, not a stellar cocktail. The bartenders are showman, and the live music provides a lively atmosphere. The place is small and packed, but that is it's charm. If Hemignway likes it, so can I. Visit it after a stroll in old Havana.

Is it a tourist trap? Yes. Did I enjoy my daiquiri less because of that? Certainly, no. The band was great, the people giddy, and the famous cocktail just as good as any.

We popped in for a drink, found it heaving but very full of tourists. The bar staff were struggling to serve everyone, and it was overall very disappointing. I am sure in its heyday it was great but not now.
