highly recommended by our guide who helped us get a reservation on the roof for the evening. Worth every peso, every member of our group was happy with their food choice and the wine was exceptionally good. Don't bother with dessert - we left for mohitos at the National Hotel.

lovely restaurant in Old Havana. Dining on the roof top overlooking the old town buildings in various states of repair a lovely setting. good food ,my lobster was great and this was the only place we found to have turkey on the menu which apparently was very good. Miss the dessert as its nothing special. and service, slightly more pricey... More

We'd been recommended this restaurant by a local and it has many accolades. The food was good, a set menu with a number of choices, 2 courses for 18c, extremely good value. There was an option to add a third course. It was extremely busy and the service was disappointing because of this. We loved the roof top option, although... More

This rooftop restaurant is in the heart of Old Havana. Four flights up. They offer lobster, pork and chicken. The lobster was great. The pork was dry. The ambiance was wonderful. I was there with a group and the service was great. The dessert tasted like from-the-box Jello chocolate pudding. Just go for the lobster and the ambiance.

We heard good things about this place so we gave it a try. Nothing special indeed, just an overpriced restaurant in old Havana with very little to offer a part maybe a little bit of sight of the city.. When we get out of that place we had to go somewhere else to fill up..not worth the visit.

We started with the best black.daiquiri ever tasted and appreciated the original offer of 12 tables on the menu. Table 2 Grilled Lobster Chops in Pernod Sauce proved to be the best choice. Our visit ended with the shot of the Cañonazo from the El Morro Fort at the opposite side of the bay. No wonder Beyonce chose this restaurant to... More

Was persuaded that this was a Great Place by our guide. There is a formulaic bland soup which was cold and tasteless. The terrace has a nice view and is within hearing distance of the 9pm cannon. Each main course has four corners of the plate decorated with minute portions of veg or rice. (mine was stone cold) and your... More

We knew the price is going to be above average but we wanted to try because of its location. One of the dish we ordered was the octopus, recommended by the the waiter. It tasted like canned sardines. We also ordered the mixed seafood dish which is also below standard. We were expecting the view for the canon show to... More

With a selection of eight small bland dishes and no appetizers save a tasteless soup ranging in price from sixteen to twenty five dollars plus a ten percent service charge this is the classic tourist trap. The plethora of tourist guides enjoying lobster at the expense of their naive clients is one warning sign and the eagerness of hotel staff... More

Good meal in a great location, although the selling point of the 9pm cannon location is slightly oversold, as it can be heard all over Havana. Not cheap but we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, the music was slightly different from the usual with a solo artist who sung all the usual in with a slightly folk jazz vein.
