We were brought to this place on the first day we arrived by the maid of the apartment we were staying in. The prices were very expensive and the portion of food given very little, compared to all other restaurants("paladares") that we ate. Not only that, the food is not fresh, I got food poisoned that night. After exploring other... More

Yes I was taken here by a local and they get a kick back coupon but I didn't have the experience I read below. It is a very clean restaurant. Good mojitos and good food. It was not overpriced, A good experience

Terrible. Terrible. Service: In the entire restaurant there was just us and one other couple. and it still took 1:30hr to get our food. Food: - Our appetizer had a plastic bottle cap cooked into it. We didn't make a fuss, just pushed it to the side. It was pretty obvious when she picked up the food, but she never... More

We were approached by local on the street and taken to this paladar located on Acosta No 260-A. Cocktails and beers were served for 5CUC but food was very expensive, not worthy + 10% service charge! Please avoid this place!! It is massively overpriced!

Avoid this place! It was recommended by someone who was nothing but a mole for the restaurant. We ended up having THE worst experience in our 10 days in Cuba. We paid three times more for ropa vieja "the house specialty," than we did at any other restaurant during our stay. After our meal, when we questioned the price of... More

DO NOT EAT HERE - IT IS A TRAP!!! We got recommended this restaurant by our american car driver Alain (he drives a purple pontiac). He takes people here all the time and I reckon there is a kickback from the restaurant to him as an incentive. My dad had offered to buy him lunch. He said it was a... More

Don Lorenzo is a bit off the beaten track. It is in old Havana and only a short walk away from the tourist areas. We just happened to walk by and since we were thirsty and hungry we went in. The menu is so long that it is clear they don't have it all. The waitress gave us recommendations and... More

Our Havanna based casa had recommended this restaurant to us. For a simple and poorly cooked paella, with few chunks of bad-quality chicken meat and totally lacking seafood, we were charged CUC 20, the equivalence of EUR 18. For two meals we paid CUC 40, with beer CUC 44. The chatty waiter put 10 pct tip on the bill, but... More

My friends and I were in Havana for 3 days and we were looking for a typical cuban restaurant different from the one we had been the night before for dinner which was recommended by the rep, where the food was food for tourists and overpriced. We found by chance this nice restaurant on a terrace in the center of... More

This is clearly a tourist trap. There are two types of menus at the checkout. I have seen this myself . the price you paid when you for example, on the advice of your casa going to eat there are three times as high. Our Casa Greenhouse us cheats here . Food is poor . And really terribly expensive .... More
