My family of 3 were taken there by Jay from Cuban Connections. We weren't given a choice and despite wanting to stop somewhere else, he pressured us into this place. I suspect he got a kickback of some sort. Only price fixes meals even for my 12 year old the price was the same. Even tho they were out of... More

The family restaurant is very hospitable to all tourists and locals. English is spoken here and a mariachi bands plays for you! The food was the best we had in Cuba, service was impeccable, and the prices reasonable. I certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Havana!

Our guide Jay from Cuban Connections chose this restaurant when I asked for an authentic Cuban restaurant away from the tourist culture. This was perfect We were welcomed into this restaurant and witnessed Cuban culture at its finest A family was celebrating their daughters 15th birthday or Quinceañera. The entire restaurant got up to sing her Happy Birthday and celebrate... More

My family and I traveled to Cuba with National Geographic(12/2816-1/4/17) and this is one of the restaurants they took us to during our week-long stay in and around Havana. Best meal of the trip! We did not get to order from their regular menu as there were almost 20 of us at one time but the choices we DID get... More

We visited this very nice little restaurant while on a private tour of Havana. While we generally prefer simpler restaurants we had a very nice lunch. They offered us only a prix-fixe menu which included a drink, soup, choice of seafood or meat with rice and beans and a dessert. While the food was very good we weren't that hungry... More

Good local food, fresh fish, soups, pork - excellent service in an unassuming atmosphere. Located in a neighborhood in Nuevo Vedado - a bit off the craziness of downtown Havana - we loved it.

We went here for lunch in a private tour. They have set menu with price ranging from 18-25. The menu includes one drink, soup, main course, dessert, and coffee. I had pork. It tastes good but not enough sauce. My friend ordered the lamb. It's tender and saucy. They have black beans, sweet potatoes, and rice as side dishes. I... More

La Casa restaurant is the result of a wide family heritage and also a dream came true. It's been more than 18 years since the day we opened to the public in our Californian stylish house, built in the 1950's. Our desire was to become a family restaurant, where guests could enjoy the authentic Cuban food, cooked in our kitchen following the recipes for Cuban food, among those a large number of our family heritage recipes.
