Only one good dish was wild pork. Nice tasty sauce with a truffle mashed taro. We also got the San cristobal fish which was disappointing since the waiter recommended it. Very bland and a lot of garlic which overpowered everything else. We also got the...More

We were personally escorted to a private room where a large round table fit our group of 8 perfectly. Surrounding us were antiques and pictures from floor to high ceiling. In a corner were pictures, letters and other evidence that President and Michelle Obama ate...More

This was my second visit to San Cristobal - the first was several years ago, over the Christmas holiday. We were so disappointed- to the point of almost being offended - by the service we received. We are in Havana for a special Mother's Day...More

While the restaurant was beautiful and most of the staff was very friendly, our waiter was absolutely terrible. He literally insulted us at the end of the meal and made for the worst experience of our trip to Cuba. I think they have become too...More

I booked here a couple of months before arriving in Cuba. We were seated straight away on arrival at 8pm. My husband had the lamb stew which was very tasty. We also had the appetiser for 2 which was lovely. The surroundings were wonderful and...More

Great restaurant if looking for an upscale Cuban ambiance. The food was good, but not great. It is difficult to get a reservation, so you must book way in advance. My friends and I were able to get a last minute reservation, however when we...More

This is where we hd our best meal in Cuba. The rooms were fun to see, the staff was so good and friendly and the food delicious. We tried to go back for a second meal there, but they were closed. We were very disappointed.

I remember the restaurant to be on one level, however Havana has few cuts in the road or sidewalks so you will have to maneuver from a cab over a curb. I'd expect the people at the front door would help.request assistance... More

I've emailed the restaurant twice (once last week and once this week) to try and book a table for 2 weeks time, but they are not replying. Has anybody been able to book in advance, and if so, how? Thanks

Internet service is spotty in Cuba. You can always try having the host if you are doing Airbnb or concierge if you are staying at a hotel make the reservation for you
