The food and drink menu is definitely lacking, but they have live music and it can be fun with friends. The bar area is usually crowded and there is a photo op with Hemingway's statue at the bar.

Think this is a bit like Harrys Bar in Venice - you feel that you really should go but then wonder why! To be fair the service was quick and the music fairly ok but other than that...............cocktails were being multi mixed from powder whilst we were there and the funnel used for the juice made me wish I hadn't... This is an infamous bar - the place where daiquiris were invented, the place where Hemingway hung out - we went one evening - having swerved it one afternoon when a tour bus arrived but the evening was great fun - don't expect to meet many if any Cubans in there though - there was some great live music and... Hemingway would not be caught dead in this loud, crowded bar. I imagine that when he was hanging around it was mostly empty except for his cronies. Now it’s wall to wall people, all touristas taking turns posing for photos alongside a life-size bronze replica of Hemingway at the end of the bar. There’s a simple menu in front at... More

I can see why Hemingway loved the daiquiris here! I loved them too! It was crowded but a great atmosphere, nice music, fun bartenders, and overall a nice place. Fun bar.

The only downside is that this place is always teeming !! with tourists and it is hard to get a seat and a drink, but they do make incredibly good cocktails !!

Great atmosphere, live music, great drinks! You can't go to Havana and miss out on La Floridita. Whether you go in the afternoon or evening it's always a great atmosphere.

This is one of Havana's must-see bars, but because of this it has a steady flow of sight-seeing clients who have a quick drink (or even no drink) making for not a very pleasant ambience. There are better bars around with better (and cheaper) cocktails.

This place is adorable from the outside and of historic significance insofar as it was one of Ernest Hemingway's regular haunts. The place was so packed with tourists and so noisy it was hard to really enjoy. I also found the dacquiris quite watered down. We had far better dacquiris elsewhere. Go for the sake of curiosity but don't set... More

Another famous bar and restaurant from the Ernest Hemingway era, this one delivers on its promise. Excellent food and drinks, quick and friendly service and full of energy.
