Mundo Bizarro is located in the quarters of Pietermaai, an area that is slowly developping into a culinary and cultural hangout. Great! Mundo fits there really well; there was Tango dancing going on while we were there. We were sitting outside in the left alley which next to an airco engine which was noisy and gave warmth. Not very comfortable.... More

I came for lunch on a day that was extra quiet (Monday afternoon). My server was awesome and he recommended the chicken avocado sandwich for lunch. Cool vibe and friendly staff!

Came here three times in less than a week. Excellent service. The waitresses were friendly and polite. It has a nice atmosphere, candles on the table for dinner, which makes it quite romantic. It's full of antiques and they make good fish. There's wine or beer. Excellent price-quality ratio

This is, to me, one of those off the beaten path, hidden gem kind of places that you hear about from friends but never stumble upon yourself. We were intrigued by the name and decided to give it a go. The cocktails we ordered were - how shall I say, creatively interpreted - but the food was solid and well prepared and presented. Our server, Jill, was a delight to engage with and was attentive and sincere. Recommend giving this delightful and eclectic venue a try!

We stayed at the neighbouring Pietermaai Boutique Hotel and went for breakfast at Mundo Bizarro. Freshly cooked breakfast, fresh fruits, cereals and croissants. We also enjoyed their cappuccino, diner in the evening and cocktails on several occasions. The staff was always very friendly and the atmosphere is very good. They have a small terrace in front on the street, as... More

We went here for dinner because it was 2 streets next to our apartment and we had no idea if it was any good. We had the bi tempura and carpaccio as appetizer and it was delicious. But the main course still had to come and we ordered the truffle pasta with shrimps... If you like truffle and shrimps, you... More

We enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch on the pavement terrace on our way though Petermaai. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well prepared and tasty.
