We went here twice for lunch. This is an experience you shouldn't miss. Each stall serves their own food. The first time we went the food was excellent. The seccond time the sateh was without the peanut sauce

Located inside Plasa Bieu, it is the stall at the center of the open-air building. When I walked in at 11:45 am, the only people lining up for food where at either end only (especially at Yvonne di Plaza). I personally wouldn't go for iguana or odd meats, so I opted for spare ribs with rice and beans. Good homemade... More

Visiting Plasa Bieu and John/Grasia Di Dios was a highlight of our trip. We love getting to eat local/authentic food and meet local/authentic people. Very easy walk from the ferry. Friendly staff. We had iguana, sweet chicken, goat and red snapper. We loved trying the sides. And the lemonade was delish. Hope to visit again.

I go to this restaurant as often as i can. The service is always amazing, very kind people who make you feel right at home. The Location is Curacao's Local PLAZA BIEU it does not get more Krioyo "local" than this. The food is very clean and they give you very good options. Usually at other restaurant the stews come... After an overpriced and measly meal at the Hilton we headed downtown to fill our tummies. We wandered in and stopped at John's place because when we asked what could we get...He answered - "you get me- and I make the food with love". That got me hook, line and sinker. Order the tutu. He makes his with cornmeal, pumpkin,... More

I ate in the Plasa Bieu Market 3 times, twice at Un Grasia Di Dios. I came back to this place because of the owner/waiter who was very personable and the hot sauce they had on the table. The food was very good, one day I had the baccalao and the other day the Dorado. It came with beans and... More

Do as the locals do. Take your lunch from this stall in the Plasa Bieu Market. Take it home or enjoy it in the market hall. Friendly owner(?) advises about the available food and serves at your table. All fresh and home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Home made Lamunchi is pretty sweet but is very good for a thirsty... More

at the Plasa Bieu, old market. About 6 different stands offer various types of freshly made, local food. We checked them all and decided to for the sympathetic appearance of the gentleman at Grasia di Dios, which is the stand somewhere in the middle of the hall. We went for chicken, one Java and one Curry, both with rice and... More

We enjoyed the beef stew here on our short visit to Curacao and definitely hope to be back to this stop next time. If there were food this flavorful and fresh where we live, we'd be there on an at least weekly basis. The owner was super kind, checking in on us throughout our meal. He was kind enough to... More
