friends took us to this awesome restaurant. Traditional Dominican food being served. Very cool local decor and has some historical significance, neat to walk around and view. there is some dancing with staff and just a fun place to go to.

The Merengue dancing show was very cool my friends from the States really enjoyed it. I was expecting better food though, is not bad but definitely it could be better, they had no pork cracklings for the Mofongo when I went and the shrimp Mofongo had like two pieces of shrimp, the salad was good and they give plenty.

The wait staff are very attentive and they are accommodating. My compliments stop there. The drinks are expensive and are watered down. The atmosphere was melodramatic, with insect noises in the bathrooms and with fake artifacts. I guess I can understand why its attractive, because it is high quality. The mafongo I ordered was extremely dry, even with the sauce... More

From beginning to end its a Dominican experience. The food is excellent, and you are surrounded by Dominican music, dance performances by the waiters and the waiters even speak to you in Dominican coloquial accent.

We went to El Coruco for a business meeting/dinner with a large group of people (20+). Table was arranged in a closed off space and we were serviced by two competent people. The food was good but give some thought to what you order -- my shrimp with mango was great while neighbor's chicken looked boring. Check out the nice... More

It is an excellent place for tasting traditional dominican food sorrounded by a typical conuco decoration. Staff was very friendly and you usually can enjoy a dance show.

My family and I had a great time at El Conuco. The service was great but I thought the food ranged from average to above average. I've had a typical Dominican food but the food that we had was somewhat different in taste. We definitely enjoyed the dancers after dinner and the whole native feel of the restaurant.
