My Favorite Restaurant in Punta Cana

By far the best tasting food in Punta Cana. My family fell on love with this restaurant a few months ago and to this day it remains our favorite place to eat in Punta Cana. There is always something new on the menu. The most important part, unlike many restaurants, The Greek offers many options for kids with a great friendly environment we all grew to love. I encourage everyone to try their menu, you will fall in love and never stop going. Keep up the good work and hats off to their professional staff.

Everyone was so sweet from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The service was amazing. The staff held the doors open for us anywhere we went and made sure we were well-accommodated. While we were checking in, they provided us with cold beverages and drinks right off the bat. We happened to come on a busy weekend when they had events planned but despite the commotion they made sure we felt comfortable at every moment. The bar and restaurant here is open 24 hours so you never have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. The area can seem a little daunting to walk through bc it’s a small block but rest assured that there are plenty of security at the hotel to make sure you feel safe during your stay. PLUS the beach is RIGHT THERE!!! Oceanside view. 10/10 would stay again.

Every time my husband and I come to the Greek, we are treated like family. We feel like we're at home every time we come and visit. Whether it's to stay in a room or eat a meal and relax on the beachfront. Almost every time we come, we have our wonderful friend and hostess Jennifer serve us drinks and food with a smile and hug. We LOVE coming to The Greek!!

Never Go Here

I attended this bar at night in hopes of a good time. I was very disappointed. The bar staff was very disrespectful and over charged me for drinks that my Spanish speaking friends were charged less for. I spoke to other English speaking guests and they faced the same problem. I will be telling all my fellow travelers to avoid this shady location as nobody likes to be discriminated against.

Great Atmosphere

Stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurant many times. The view from the beachside room was nice. You had a nice view of the ocean and the rest of the hotel property. The restaurant itself had very good Food and accommodating staff available 24/7 at your request.

I stayed at this hotel and the food was amazing! Very good portions and it tastes really really good, the bandeja picadera and the souvlaki was sooo good, everything tastes excellent and it's fresh made. This is a place you can just walk in if you are not staying at the hotel, just to eat something and they are open 24hours! So if you feel for a late night snack this is definitely the place for it. Claren was my server and he give a really good service, also Milca and Luis where very helpful and really fun people to talk with. Claudi is the cooker and he's so dedicated to his kitchen, everything fresh made and delicious! Thank you for the food guys!

The Greek Camarera Yessenia

The Greek is a great restaurant in Bavaro. It’s right on the beach so you get the best view and a nice breeze. The food: outstanding!! The chef is super talented and use tasty spices! I recommend the Pollo Guisado, Paella, Lobster and Fruit Smoothies! Also, our server Yessenia was amazing! She provided excellent customer service. She is very polite, fun and she treated me like a King!

A lively great place to stay right on the beach

The Greek hotel is a fantastic place to stay on Corticito beach. My room came equipped with both AC and a fan. Although missing a tv my aim was to have fun in an incredible location on the beach. Check-in was super simple and having An ATM at the hotel made wanting cash very safe and accessible. The hotel also features 24 hour security and awesome staff who ensured my stay was hospitable.

Everyone here is absolutely lovely & amazing. The food is spectacular and is made to order. Everyone is super friendly and has such an amazing vibe. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. The location is perfect, the beach is right there and everyone here is helpful. There is constant security always making you feel safe and secure. Thank you The Greek! Big thank you to Rosio at the front who treated us like family from the beginning.

We sat at the bar to watch the World Cup game. The service and the food was excellent. The ladies behind the bar were so attentive and always near by for whatever we needed. The chicken souvlaki, omg so delicious!! Everything was perfect. The presentation of the food was very beautiful. The staff were eager to help out in every and any way they could. I highly recommend. Cozy and family friendly, right on the beach.

Very good presentation of the dishes. Good food from the Greek community, very good flavor. The music is barely heard but it is typical Greek music. The service is good but it is the same Thali staff and we come from a terrible experience. Therefore, I recommend that you never come to the 10pm shift given that the service quality is low.

I spent 6 days at Riu Palace Punta Cana (a luxury hotel). When my parents gave positive to Covid I left the Riu and came to The Greek. I wish I had discovered this place first. The hotel need renovations but the bed is so wonderful that yesterday night was the first one thatI slept the whole night. The bar and restaurant are 24 hrs. They have house music, trap, reggaetón, bachata…all kind of Caribbean music. At 10:30-11:00 pm the down the music. Access to the beach is also 24 hrs. Staff is wonderful and you have a lot of local handcrafts. Also, my sister país $40 for a basic braid while I pay $10 for the same. Instead of Punta Cana (Riu hotels) go to El Cortecito. You have all what you want, if you want to really know what Caribbean life is (and I’m puerorrican, so I know what Caribbean is). Ask for Rocío and tell her that the puertorrican girl recommended her. She’s wonderful! All of this to say that I highly recommend this place!

The most over priced food in Punta Cana. Many other restaurants have better food for a lot less. Avoid this tourist trap. I was warned against going there by numerous people but still gave them a chance. A GREAT location to just have a drink at the beach.

Good evening. Thank you for your review. The boxing event although did not commence until after 5 pm you are correct, was an extraordinary success. The visiting team's bus did not arrive until 5 pm after a nine hour bus ride from across the country. The event commenced at 5:30 pm and ended at approximately 9:30 pm. There were 10 bouts, with 3 rounds per bout. After the event, ESTRELLA RF performed until approximately 10:30 pm and Silvio Mora performed thereafter until approximately 12:30pm to a packed crowd of very satisfied and excited fans. Your comments about the pricing are unjustified since there was no cover charge, and everything on the menu today was practically given away on a special promotion of 50% for Father's Day. Our commencement times published are only estimates with hopes that visiting teams will be punctual but we cannot control traffic, and climate conditions in this country as there was also a tropical storm in other parts of the country today. We are sorry for the delay and hope you will come and share the amazing experience on our next event with special guests, and live entertainment next month on August 27th, 2022. There is no where in this country where you and your family can enjoy premium quality food and beverages, stellar customer service right on the beach, and free boxing, and live musical entertainment from famous artists for FREE so we hope you will reconsider your negative review as we have been doing these boxing events primarily to support underprivileged youth and amateur athletes across the country for several months now without charging any type of cover charge. Have a wonderful evening and best regards.

Little worried at first, only because I was on my own, didn’t take long to welcome me and be very helpful especially Nathalia, her English was a welcome sight, as well as the manager and his very friendly wife. Many excursions to pick from and Nathalia organized everything, made it easy and worry free. The food as well was very good and you’re right on the beach. The only thing negative would be that the music was too loud.

Awesome place!

Loved! Visited with my two daughters and they loved it as well. Loved being able to eat lunch right on the beach. Service was exceptional and Jennifer was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. Food and drinks were very good! I only wish I had known about the hotel prior to booking an air bnb because I would’ve loved to stay here at the resort but they were full and I totally understand why. Great place overall
