I got off my vegetarian diet for the food at Ossies! I used to live near by, and could smell food being prepared. In Jamaica, every family has their own version of this - Ossie's was astounding.

We bought jerk chicken to take out on three occasions. Each time we hoped we might have just been unlucky the previous occasions but no, it actually was so bad on the third try that we had to throw it away - and we were starving! Chicken was dry, really flavourless and nasty. Sorry, but we did try and give... More

We knew the food was going to be good here when there were several Jamaicans eating there. Sure it's not the most appealing places but most Jamaican restaurants aren't in Negril. It was great value and nice and fresh they cook to order so you have to be ok with a wait.

Great Jerk Chicken or Jerk pork. A whole pound of pork with rice and peas for 10 bucks! If you are on a budget or looking to experience what locals eat, please go there. Did I mention beer for $2!?

My husband and I dream about this place when we are not in Jamaica!! I don't know how she does it but her jerk chicken is out of this world. She marinades it all day and then you can add the spicy-Scotch bonnet sauce or/and the sweet sauce. She also makes great and flavorful rice and peas. Out of the... More

Got Jerk Chicken, was more like sweet and sour chicken. Was very disappointed as the place was rated well. Maybe you have to tell them what you want, but as a restaurant across from the big all inclusives I think they would have more initiative then. The price was decent, but it wasn't jerk. I make a killer jerk so... More

went here on a 'recommendation' that it was the best jerk chicken in Negril. Well, when we arrived, they informed us that they were out of the rice and peas that came with it, and still charged us full price for the meal. Strike one. Counter folk were not friendly in the least. Strike two. And when we walked back... More

If you like it hot, this is hot and the best hot sauce I've had. If you don't your still ok because the sauce is on the side. The Jerk chicken is amazing and the pork as well. Don't be scared of the appearance, I recommend doing takeout.

When we have put too many hours into having fun and just want to chill in our room we get Ossie's delicious jerk chicken for our room. It is always delicious.

I used to live very close to Ossie's Jerk Centre. I would wake up to the wonderful smells of their food being prepared. Mostly it was chicken, but sometimes there was pork and fish. I "fell off" my vegetarian diet to eat their chicken (for a few years). They also would make freshly made lime juice.
