The cheeseburgers were good and very reasonably priced but if you're really hungry you may need 2 or 3. The customer service could be better as the server seemed a bit unapproachable and somewhat bothered by requests.

Woody's is a famous restaurant in the area, although you wouldn't know it by its modest exterior on the pot-hole filled road east of Port Antonio. An excellent range of burgers are served whenever the restaurant is open. A wider range of meals may have to be ordered in advance. Drop by at noon, order your evening meal, then return... More

You can drop in for the best burger anywhere, but consider reserving for a sit-down Jamaican dinner (requiring about a day's notice). This is a dinner you won't get anywhere else! Everything is homemade: soup, jerk chicken, fried bananas, pumpkin rice, coconut cake, and the homemade ginger beer is fantastic. The setting is perfection, Woody is charming, his staff extraordinarily... More

Just returned from a wonderful dinner at Woody's. We had called in the morning to make a reservation and order our food. We got a delicious 3 course meal. Soup was divine and so was the curry goat and vegetable rundown for dessert we had a marvelous toto ( coconut cake). The service was friendly and efficient we were introduced... More

We loved the ambiance and good vibes at Woody's - everyone was eager to be there and Woody even came out to say hello. Should we find ourselves in Port Antonio again anytime soon, we'll definitely be back!

Woody's has a local following so we had to check it out. Burgers and more burgers. They do have a couple of vegetarian options, which is nice, and the sayings posted all around the walls are entertaining. The basic burger has tomatoes and green peppers, so that's a twist on typical Jamaican burger fare. And the explanation of why they... More

Small place, sometimes requires you to wait for someone to come to the bar but it is worth waiting. Classic cheese burger is a good choice. You can order bigger, Jamaican dinner a day in advance - goat curry, beef a'la gulasch, classic jerk etc. Service is good although hard to find sometimes

You don't have a view of anything here but we eat here anyway. It is very Jamaican. The hamburgers are small but good.

Very attentive service, delicious three course meal - surprisingly good soup, tender chicken with plentiful sides, and a delicious coconut cake for dessert! Very happy customers. Can recommend the home made ginger beer with rum as a refreshing drink.

Those are some good hamburgers, but you may have to wait 90 minutes or so for having one, once you are finally ready to eat at least 2 or 3 in a row. Needs refinements in service.
