Cool spot that delivers a Prix fixe brunch that exceeds expectations. Coffee and sparkling drink lelolai, sparkling wine and guava was delicious. They use local coffee roaster Quattro sombas. Food was delicious, filling but doesn't weigh you down for the rest of the day.

By far my favorite spot in Old San Juan. The first floor is a lovely dining establishment with a good menu and mid range prices. The second floor is a posh lounge with a good cocktail menu and the third floor is a small rooftop lounge with tapas and a limited wine menu. You could start for happy hour on... More

My wife and I found ourselves dining at St Germain Bistro & Cafe 3 times in our short stay in Old San Juan. The place may be a just little cramped but the lively, friendly atmosphere and excellent food and drinks make that minor issue disappear. The owner/manager is the perfect cheery host and his pride and professionalism add to... More

we stopped here for lunch after walking around old san juan in the morning. We got here by 12 noon and we were lucky to be seated immediately. In about 10 min after our arrival, all seats were full and there was a huge wait. The drinks are out of this world - the ginger margarita and the basil mojito... More

We ate on New Year's Day. The place was packed. It seemed the servers and kitchen staff were overwhelmed. We went there for lunch at 1:00, were told to come back 1/2 hour later. Waited another 1/2 hour, partially because tables were not leaving, but primarily because they weren't getting plates cleared, checks processed, etc. in a reasonable time frame.... More

Great place for lunch or dinner, salads, pizza, sangria and sandwiches. The service was also excellent.

Lovely place. Great service. I have been here a few times and love the atmosphere. Light and delicious menu. I love to have the fresh sandía water first. I also had the lentil soup and quiche with a fresh mint tea. Yummi!

Small place with wonderful service in Old San Juan. 7 of 7 plates were excellent and the in-house fresh-made mojitos and margaritas, Ginger and Basil, were something special.

Good food, horrible service. It took 45 minutes and several reminders for food to be served, all entrées were not served at the same time (so 2 of the 4 of us had to wait even longer), butter was served after the meal was almost over and baguettes were finished, one of the entrées was accompanied with the wrong side,... Let me first say that I am extremely finicky eater and spent a week in Puerto Rico. This cafe is the only place I dined at that deserves an excellent review. This is a small, charming cafe in Old San Juan that serves the food fresh so allow time for them to make your meal from scratch. The owner was... More
