You cannot go wrong with any menu choices at this restaurant. The food is authentic and simple yet extremely tasty. We have been there several times and the servers have always been warm, friendly and honest. There are locals eating there in addition to tourists, which is always a good sign. My husband enjoyed the sangria and I loved my... More

The staff in our hotel, La Terazza de San Juan recommended we this restaurant as it is very popular, particularly for its local cuisine. We had mofongos of beef and chicken I believe. The bowl is edible, made from sweet potatoes or plantains. The evening was very pleasant so we dined at the patio tables on the square named for... More

Try the chicken or shrimp mofongo. It was great. We had the creole sauce and also had chicken bites with Yuca fries. Try the pink sauce with the yucca fries.

My group of 3 couples were told this was a good place that we could grab a authentic Puerto Rican dinner without reservations on a New Years eve afternoon. We arrived right at 5 pm and were seated with no problems. Excellent service. Happy joking waitress, good atmosphere. Had a few beers and some gumbo, mufungo and other dishes none... More

Another recommendation from our hotel and again, wasn't disappointed. The place is relatively small, but has a second floor (very nice and little calmer). Food was delicious and service was rapid. After (or before) visiting San Cristobal, this is the place to go to grab a meal. I highly recommend.

In San Juan for a day off cruise ship. Family wanted authentic Puerto Rican food. This place fit the bill. Mofongo, Shrimp gumbo and steak were excellently prepared and appeared authentic. Rum punch , majito were the best. Attentive server.

Enjoyed the food, drinks and attentive waiter! My husband and I took our 4 children here after walking through Old San Juan. We were hungry and received our appetizers and drinks right away. We waited a bit longer for our main courses but everything was delicious. Best Tres Leches around!

The waiter was very helpful in helping us make great choices. We had great local food that we all enjoyed. Ask the right questions and you get a meal that knocks it out of the park. We did and it was a home run,

Folks at Da House suggested it. It was excellent!. Service was attentive. Staff was knowledgeable. We relied on their recommendations for food and beverages. Enjoyed them all.
