I always enjoy bringing friends from the mainland to this cosy corner in old San Juan. The food is good, Puerto rican and not too expensive. My friends agree.
Our son, who speaks fluent Spanish, asked a local where to get awesome PR lunch fare. They recommended Cafe Manolin!! Outstanding! Highly recommend the Monfongo (with chicken)-comes with beans and rice. Pair it up with a Medalla beer (local) or a Barcardi Mojito😋

While most of San Juan was closed, the Manolin was able to produce a complete breakfast a very reasonable price. As there were few alternatives, it could have jacked up its prices but did not.
