Authentic café in the heart of Old San Juan. Busy place, equally frequented by locals and tourists. Great breakfast service. Must visit.

I always enjoy bringing friends from the mainland to this cosy corner in old San Juan. The food is good, Puerto rican and not too expensive. My friends agree.

Went off the boat looking for some real PR food and stumbled on this place. Great service, recommend the Mofongo, mix the beans with rice, and ask for the yellow hot sauce. Highly recommend this place

Our son, who speaks fluent Spanish, asked a local where to get awesome PR lunch fare. They recommended Cafe Manolin!! Outstanding! Highly recommend the Monfongo (with chicken)-comes with beans and rice. Pair it up with a Medalla beer (local) or a Barcardi Mojito😋

We loved this restaurant in old town San Juan! We got to try some delicious local cuisine that was reasonably priced in a very cool atmosphere. It was very popular and busy which shows they are doing something right. Would definitely go back whenever I...More

Loved this place. Long counter winds throughout the restaurant. Plenty of tables for those not wanting to belly up to the bar. Throw in a chef that knows how to cook an egg, and you got a winner in Old San Juan! Quick delivery, attentive...More

While most of San Juan was closed, the Manolin was able to produce a complete breakfast a very reasonable price. As there were few alternatives, it could have jacked up its prices but did not.

Had breakfast here one morning in Old San Juan and found it fine, not fancy but filling. It seemed that there was many "locals" so that say's a lot. We sat at the counter and had eggs and bacon and coffee. It was somewhat hot...More

We ate there on a Sunday morning about 9:30. The tables were crowded but there were lots of stools available at the diner type curved bar. We had a great waitress and service was quick and food was good. Be sure to get... More

sorry for the delay. Their flan is delicious. And since i've never personally made it, it certainly looks as it's a homemade recipe.
