Great mexican food for affordable price in San Juan. I love their Huaraches. They have plenty of vegetarian options. I like hot & spicy food. They provide carbonero pepper sauce, which is hot and sweet. Have good Mojitos, specially I like their Tamarind & Jalapeno Mojito, which is hot & sweet.

Just an okay place for lunch. Had a very tender beef dish. Sat outside to people watch. Had a good margarita! A little overpriced for Mexican. Our server spoke broken English but very polite. I would call this a lunch place, kinda basic.

To tell you the truth I don't love Mexican food and this place is not that place to go if that is you handicap. My girlfriend loves Mexican and she said it was OK, nothing else came out of her so I leave it like that.... Support your local business is what I say.

The chips started the meal were fresh and the red salsa just the right temperatures. We had the melted cheese as an appetizer and pork tostada as our entry. The beer was cold and service adequate as we were there early. We finished the meal with a delicious flan. This will be our spot after viewing movies across the street... More

As a vegan it is always challenging to find good places to eat while traveling. Here there were a few menu items, and the food was delicious. Service is great as well

It was an awful experience. We were a party of 5. After half hour our appetizer were delivered they told us they don't have the ingredients to fulfill two of the orders. Hour and a half later they come to our table to told us that they do not have ingredients to fulfill another of our order. At that time,... More

This was a great find for dinner for our families. We had 5 adults and 5 kids under 10. Decent kids menu but great adult food. The nachos were very good and the shrimp tacos were incredible. You will not regret your visit.

Queso fundido was solid as a rock, waited more than 30 mins for our appetizer, an hour and 45 mins for our meal, WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PUERTO RICO, mi gente, what is going on, so many good people and sad service.

They do outrageously wonderful and subtle things, in general, and specifically with meats. The flavors are fresh and unique. When we first walked in, we were hit with the aroma of lime. Try it and you won't be disappointed. And yes, the service is slow. Our waitress compensated for that a bit with her her knowledge and helpful attitude.

Just paid the bill and really enjoyed dinner at a Erika Excellent service from Emma(nuel) and Adel. Their service was critical in making our meal at bartola memorable and truly above par Kids (teens) had tacos and they both loved it Wife and I had the "masa" dish - my steak one was just perfect (ask for the hot chilis...
