Place was destroyed but completely redone. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Offers many choices on the menu. Highly recommend.

Thankfully, Hurricane Maria didn’t discourage the owners of Bananas from reopening. The restaurant is in Esperanza right across from the water. The food is fantastic (like everything in PR) and the people are awesome!!! I’m attaching pre- and post-Maria photos
Bananas is serving great food and providing wifi as well despite being on generator power since Hurricane Maria. Great people and really excellent food.
Despite the damage on the island from the Hurricane, Bananas was open! Very friendly staff, quick service, good food, good price and a great view of the waterfront!

Very popular place, especially for younger folk. Cheap but lousy beer. Outdoor stools are nice, with a view of the Caribbean. You can rent a room here, but it might be noisy.
