I had heard great things about this place, but it was closed when we were there in December, and a local lady told us that it was permanently closed. Not sure that's true but I would certainly check before hiking up the mountain for dinner!

We actually stayed at the Ecolodge (which I will write a separate review for) so it we were really excited to join in on the family style dinner. My husband and I try to keep to a vegetarian diet, but we heard so many good things about the ribs, we decided to go for it.... and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!... More

I love this little shabby chic cafe up in the cloud forest, surrounded by lush tropical plant life, roaming dogs and goats. The food is good and the atmosphere relaxed and down-to-earth, with games, books and a dartboard. Free coffee and tea on the counter. They have bonfires on Sat nights. The lodge huts themsleves are partially reclaimed by the... More

An out-of-the-way eatery with a very interesting and unique concept in dining with an unexpectedly pleasant dining experience. The food was great though the service was a little slow (at least the night I was there) The locally grown produce and a ecologically "green" concept can/will work and the 5-star quality food makes it worth the walk.

It is a bit out of the way and requires an uphill walk or a taxi ride to get there. There is a path back to the village is downhill and navigate able at night with light. The eco resort is as the name suggests and is off grid. Although Saba is a quiet place the resort is far enough... More

This place was a short drive from Windwardside. We parked at the end of the road and made left on the trail (make right if you go Mt. Scenery). To our surprise Ecolodge / restaurant was only a few minutes walk. We ordered fresh greens salad consisting of locally grown greens and ribs entree with side of bakes beans and... More

Must make Rainforest a priority as a dinner stop on your visit to Saba...the ride up there is just the start of the experience...the walk to the restaurant adds to the beauty...but then when you get there, it is so neat...the food...the food...the ribs, beans, soup...I could go, on and on...but you need to experience it for yourself.....

The third point to my title can be taken as both a positive and a negative. I was here for lunch, but in the dark, after dinner, you would need to negotiate a 10 minute descent down a trail in the dark. Bring a light and good shoes. Very fresh, healthy, reasonably priced (for Saba) food. Very friendly and hospitable... More

Came here with my friend, who lives locally, for saturday night communal dinner. The hike up was beautiful. The bon fire area and ecolodge grounds were tranquil and serene. Of course the staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and entertaining. The food possibly the best food I've ever eaten. Everything was extremely fresh, especially the garden salad which was picked... More

My family and I hiked to the Ecolodge for dinner one night. We hiked from the dive shop in Windwardside but I think there is a way to drive most of the way. We wanted to walk back through the rainforest in the dark. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing! I left my water bottle on my... More
